Great when traveling
Works great. I can wrap up my flat iron and pack it up as soon as I’m done without having to wait to get it cool down.

Looks like the picture but doesn't stay wrapped
This mat was came and was exactly as pictured but didn't wrap around the straightener and stay like the pictures show. I have a normal sized straightener and when I put the loop around it, it looked like an ice cream cone. Kept it together up top but wide at the bottom. I ended up returning it for this reason so I cannot comment on how well it worked.

It works well in my production kit belt and in salon!
I love this tool. This mat is amazing for stationary to mobility. This mat is great to lay two to three irons on it and then good to wrap one iron in, to cool down, up to 2” curling iron or flat iron plate. I use it in my belt for my ABC News, production and at my salon station top. The Kleenex box is just to give you an idea of size. Gworl, just get it, get two! You’re welcome! @confianceensoibeaute
