Great form factor and value
This suitcase was awesome and a great value for my husband to use for a two week trip to Europe this summer. It is a thinner shell material, but well designed. The wheels have great maneuverability and are super smooth. I was looking for a top lid style suitcase that was also hardshell. Although it wasn't a top opening, it was a much better price and value for cost versus the other top opening options available at the time. It still feels very much like a clamshell suitcase, but is a much more manageable footprint for scenarios like small hotel rooms and cruises. However if you are in a cruise cabin, we found it was too tall to slide underneath the bed when closed, but it worked when the two halves were unzipped. Zipper quality was great and the handle seemed sturdy and comfortable to use for long periods of time. The surface seems scuff-resistant, but we ended up purchasing covers for our suitcases to further protect them and they came out of multiple flights and all the travel in great condition. This trunk-style suitcase was preferable to a standard 50/50 distributed clamshell suitcase, but still not our favorite compared to lid-opening suitcases. It's great quality and value for the price point, and I would buy it again.

Delsey stands by their product!
I am bummed to write this review. I was excited to use this luggage and before I even got to the airport it cracked. I looked immediately to see if I could return it and I already passed the window since I bought it in advance for trip to Italy. Now I am on my first leg of the travel and am praying it lasts the 14 days I need it to… and bummed that I’m stuck with a piece of luggage that was not inexpensive, but looks to be cheap. I literally just pushed on the side after I zipped it shut and bam! It cracked. …. I wanted to follow up and edit my stars. The crack didn’t cause any extensive issues. Delsey replaced my bag when I told them what happened. Accountability and customer service is just as important as the product itself. This bag gets pretty beat up between airlines and Manhattan street travel. I would buy again and am leaving my whole experience on here incase it helps anyone.

Rugged, lightweight, and stylish.
I absolutely love this luggage! It is lightweight, but not light on quality. The durable case handles the bumps and bounces of bag-checking like a champ. And Delsey has equipped the very roomy interior with great pockets and straps, allowing me to organize and contain the essentials efficiently. Getting around in the airport is a breeze with the stable, reliable pivoting wheels. Plus the two handles (one on top, one on the side) provide flexibility when maneuvering the case in security checks or into overhead compartments. Another thing that Delsey didn’t skimp on is the telescoping handle. Isn’t it a pain when those handles don’t easily pull out? Or fail to stay locked in place? Not with this luggage! The zipper locks and charger port are great additional elements. My only regret is that I took so long to make this purchase.

Don’t buy Delsey
Don’t buy Delsey, especially this 26” checked trunk. (Look at all the one star reviews - most are for this trunk.) First off, the product description says it’s a hard side expandable luggage, but IT IS NOT EXPANDABLE. I could tell from the photos that it wasn’t expandable so it’s not a problem, but they should fix the misleading description. The real problem is how brittle the outside shell is, partly due to a design flaw of the top handle area causing stress fractures along the outside edges. At the beginning of only its second trip, a crack appeared along one of the top edges as well as a less noticeable one on the long side of the case. I couldn’t see spending $168 and getting only two trips out of this luggage, so I used heavy duty 3" wide tarp tape on the cracks from the inside and outside of the case. At the end of trip number three, the bag came home with huge cracks on the opposite edge and corner. I had a fourth trip lined up in less than a month so I retaped the first crack, which was growing longer than the taped area itself, and heavily patched up the other corner as best I could. The trunk had also arrived with what looked like a missing wheel at first glance as it was balancing on only three wheels in baggage claim. Surprisingly, the "missing wheel" was only bent inward and popped back into position with a good yank. I'm thankful that this only left an indentation where the wheel bent in because, looking at some other people’s damages, the wheel assembly could've easily been ripped away from the case. My luggage looked a little ghetto all tapedup, but it survived trip number four with no further damage. Alas, this was its last trip as I have since bought a less expensive replacement (different brand and style). It’s a shame because the rest of it is still in good working condition. The built in TSA lock is great, the removable zip-out lining is also a nice feature, as are the zippered mesh divider and telescopic handle. It’s a pretty color and the gold touches are nice, too. If only Delsey made the shell less brittle, and the top handle area sturdier so that there’s less stress on the shell when you lift the case by the top handle or when something is placed on top of the handle. For all of this to happen in less than a year makes this a poor value for the money.

Favorite Suitcase for Long Trfips
This is my favorite piece of luggage when traveling for long periods of time. It is lightweight & durable, able to tackle even the most ruthless of baggage handlers. It also has a great interior space, keeping everything well organized & easy to access (without spilling upon opening.

Great value for the money, super stylish, BUY PACKING CUBES!
I really like the appearance of this suitcase the colors, the handles, the lock, mechanisms, etc. my biggest complaint is that the Shell is quite flimsy. I was concerned it was gonna have issues holding up. Also this is probably a complaint that I would have for any other suitcase of the size and variety, but once you put your clothes and belongings in the suitcase, and then you turn it on its side, so you roll it. Everything falls to one side in the bottom it would be nice if there were Even more zipper pouches. I guess I’m just gonna buy some of those inserts all in all very pleased with this purchase after having a major shipping issue that was handled by Amazon! I will also add that I was able to zip it successfully with only a little bit of pushing I could’ve fit another 10 items in there at least but my suitcase was 12 pounds over costing me an extra hundred dollars in luggage tree you would have to really pack lightly to get this under 50 pounds, and then all your items would be completely squished to the bottom so? Idk it doesn’t really make sense to me. This is my first “Shell” suitcase.

Super smart design
It is hard to find luggage with a removable lining, but the Delsey Paris Cruise 3 does a fantastic job! I absolutely love it—it has everything I need and more.

I believe this is a counterfeit bag, not Delsey quality.
Zipper broke first use and I don't have time to replace the bag. I think I was sent a fake. This isn't Delsey quality.
