Zen Breakfast Blend Breakfast Smoothies - Chocolate Blueberry Walnut

I love love love this powder! Recommended by my naturopath. I have sensitive digestion and have tried several high-quality products on the market. Most of them don't agree with me. This protein powder helps keep stable energy levels throughout the day and tastes good (I use almond milk). It uses REAL FOOD and doesn't contain a bunch of additives. It's simple real food. Most ingredients are sourced organic.Some people have mentioned that it's chunky. I don't have a Vitamix to blend it smooth. I use my coffee grinder to make it into a fine powder before each serving (because the packet contains whole seeds, etc.) and then I blend it and voila! Smooth and delicious. I recommend this method for those who use the hand-shaking containers on the go.Also, I've noticed when I let my smoothie sit too long, it starts to thicken up, so I add a little more milk, water or ice to reduce the thickness. I think this happens because of the chia seeds which absorb a significant amount of water. I try to finish drinking it within 10 minutes of making it.Both Blueberry and Cherry flavors taste good, but I prefer the blueberry flavor.

Most of us know that chocolate (the real stuff) is good for us, walnuts (in moderation) are good for us, and blueberries are not only good for us, they are a superfood. This smoothie has all three, plus more (like sunflower and chia).I usually have this smoothie for breakfast, but it's great for lunch as well. I do add extra blueberries or blueberry powder just because blueberries are so healthy, and I love them so much. This does make a nice thick smoothie, but it isn't too thick for me (I use almond milk). If you want to thin it down a bit, just add more milk or water.The smoothie mixes up quite smooth for me, but I use a NutriNinja or a NutriBullet (by some quirk, my partner and I own both), but if you just have a garden variety blender, the seeds might be difficult to liquify. Some people won't mind this, others will.I can taste the chocolate in this smoothie, I can taste the blueberries, and I can taste the walnuts, which I think is great since I love all three. I love the taste of all three alone, but they are even better together.This smoothie is enough for breakfast or lunch for me, and I think it would probably satisfy most people. I'm not used to big meals, but if you are, you may prefer this as a snack, and be assured, it would make a very healthy and delicious snack. I just don't need the extra food or the extra calories. This would be too much to have as a snack for me, but we're all different, and we all have different needs.I'm so pleased with this smoothie mix that I plan on buying a lot more (I hope it's always available), and I plan on trying the chocolate-cherry-almond as well. Great flavor combinations and a fantastic smoothie. If you're into healthy food that is also delicious, you can't go wrong with this.

This doesn’t taste as great as some people say and you don’t really taste the blueberry or the walnut BUT it’s also not that terrible of a taste. What caught my eye was that I drank this in the morning at around 7 a.m. and I was full all day. I wasn’t hungry at all. The price is kind of high but I think I would buy it again.

I love this stuff. It’s pricey and doesn’t really taste like blueberry is anywhere in it, but it still makes a great shake for breakfast after my workout. I’ve tried a lot of protein powder, including the brand of the gym I go to, and none of them blend up as smoothly as this one.

These are really tasty. I like the clean ingredients. They’re a bit pricey and each packet is actually 2 servings. However, I like them enough to repurchase and keep in my routine. I usually blend half a packet with 1 cup of almond milk and half a banana. Keeps me full.

Couldn't drink it, tasted terrible to me. Tried adding strawberries and banana, tasted worse.

Tastes great and keeps me full for a long time which no other smoothie could do. I added more frozen blueberries and frozen avocado and didn’t even use the whole packet.

Very good taste, just wish more came in one package. Keeps hunger at bay for me when substituting for a lunch meal.
