This set of brushes is advertised for laboratory use, but I will not be using them for that purpose. They are lightweight with simple wooden handles and long soft bristles. They will come in handy for cleaning some of my camera equipment and around my lenses. These brushes can be used for cleaning delicate machinery or jewelry, but my primary use for these will be for pollinating some of my plants, such as my Meyer lemon tree in the spring. The soft bristles will be perfect and function quite well for picking up pollen from the male stamen and delivering it easily to the female pistil without damaging any of the plant parts. My set did not have any loose bristles, and the set of five will last a long time. The current price point is a bit high compared to other similar items.

appears to have a lot of loose fibers. I did not want to just pull out the long ones. Thinking, doing that may loosen them all up. I did, cut off the long ones and shock it a few times.

I got these cleaning brushes for my husband to use while working. He uses some equipment that must be dusted off after each use. These brushes are high quality. The bristles on the brush are very flexible, allowing the equipment to be dusted off adequately. They're great at cleaning and doing their job. There are four brushes in this set. This set is a great value for the money.
