will mixing 5-10% water cause my cast iron base plates and machine parts to rust over time? Will it affect the paint of my machine at all?

I've been using this exclusively on a larger bandsaw for over a year now and have not noticed any real change in the metal I have used including cast iron. Hope this helps.
