It's quite good. I have a bigger cast iron and this one for doing small batches. Saves a lot of oil shallow frying meat.

Taking two stars because of the uneven surface. The cooking surface sort of plateaus up from the sides. The cooking surface is also gritty but that is to be expected at this price point.But other than that it’s fine. As a cast iron product it’s hard to mess up anything else. So this cooks fine and seasoning it properly rendered mine non stick. One major design flaw is how heavy the skillet is despite its small size.The rust comments from other reviewers should be ignored, clearly a lot of folks who have no idea how to use and maintain cast iron got upset that iron rusts when left wet.

i wanted in small size to make on egg omellete and to maket tadka on induction.it is heavier in weight than my 24cm width cast iron pan. it is 2 times bigger from this tadka pan.i bought for induction cooking purpose.As it is iron, hence rust is bound to happen. you just need to learn how to manage rust. dont return this product on the basis of rust.

Look wise it nice. But functionalitu might be difficult. Once heated it would be difficult as the handle is also iron made. Also the size is very small. Finally it's pretty heavy.
