Perfect little feeder
We absolutely love this little feeder. It is small, but we find it to be just the right size for our garden. Little birds can feed from it easily and even cardinal sized birds can sit on the collapsible perches that are on 3 of the sides. You can either leave them up or down depending on what you want to attract. I was sorry to see it is no longer available, because we wanted another one! That's how perfect we found it for our birds. We have the Kaytee fruit and nut mix in it now and it flows easily without causing any problems. I think you could use just about any seed in this feeder which really makes it a total winner. Wish they were available again!!UPDATE: 1-14-2018 Well. It seems it was OK that they don't sell these anymore. We are having a huge problem with this feeder now and is actually being returned. When it rains, it leaks down through the hole made for the hanging wire and soaks your seed! I have never seen a bird feeder do that. I didn't pay much attention when I was hanging it up, but after it rained a few days ago when we brought it in to clear any wet seed from the bottom, we found that all the seed was soaked and had to be thrown out. We use the waste free seed which would be pretty costly losing seed every time it rains. At any rate, very disappointed that this charming little feeder wasn't engineered better to make an "outside feeder" able to be outside.UPDATE: 2-7-2018 I just got a wonderful surprise! The seller for this birdhouse actually read, understood and corrected the problem with this birdhouse. She sent me a new one that has the top hole issue fixed! I don't think I have ever had a seller do that and it blew me away! I can't wait to hang the new one up. The manufacturer made the top hole smaller so only the wire on the top fits snugly and no water can get in. Blown away by this seller and plan to buy another one when they become available in a few months, hopefully.

Tested multiple feeders - they like this one
Updating this Review since I just purchased my second of these feeders. The first one I had was not properly secured and when a squirrel attempted to get to it - knocked it to the ground and broke the hook. The birds LOVE this feeder - my backyard has everyting from huge blue jays, to dozens of finches. They are on the feeder night and day. The finches can perch on the tiny metal perch - but the Jays cant. They hang on for dear life and try eating as fast as they can, but the food is accessible enough that they get some. Squirrels have a hard time because the roof is metal and they slip. I dont think it was intentionally designed to be squirrel proof, but its too slippery for them to hang on if they cant easily get to it. When my first one was broken - i went on amazon and got a much "nicer" bigger/more expensive feeder that i assumed would be way better, since this one has attracted so many birds that come all day long. The birds *hated* the new feeder. I only got like 1/4 of the birds. The Jays did not like the new one at all. I let the new feeder hang for a month, but then i finally just ordered another one of these and this morning it is back up... all of the birds are already back. I think they like how easy it is for them to get food from this one and it is simple for them. They dont have to stick their beaks into weird holes or anything. The other feeder was "designed" for Jays and all types of birds... but they hated it. This morning I have already seen the Jays back since they recognize this feeder and know they like it.

Cute and well constructed bird feeder
I was surprised at how small this feeder is, but impressed with the solid construction and the heavy duty hanger cable. The windows are plastic, but none have popped off (my only concern is that over time they will). This is s great feeder for small songbirds, but not so good for larger ones. That's fine, because I have a separate feeder for the bigger birds. The only CON I see is that the bottom tray, while it has small holes in the corners for drainage, isn't covered by the tiny roof to an extent that it keeps rain off the bird food. As a result I have to scrape out the seeds after we get rain and dry the troughs out. I am sure it will be a hit once nicer weather gets here. For now, I've put in just under the breezeway roof, but it doesn't appear to attract birds there. Come on Spring!

It's GREEN! Leaf Green or Lime Green & GREAT!
Great little lime green powder coated bird house with a light silver roof. It can appear yellow in some lighting or shade but it's definitely GREEN unlike some previous reviews. Durable hanging wire. The roof easily slides up the wire to add bird seed. Very well made and birds were enjoying it within minutes of hanging it. Bravo!

Looks great but not as weatherproof as you'd expect
The good news is, the birds love it. The bad news is, it's a headache to maintain. Although it's advertised as weatherproof, it's far from it. A little bit of rain and the seeds get soaken wet and start to rot. Once this happens, the seeds get covered in mold and need to be cleaned out to keep the birds from getting sick. This product is NOT AT ALL EASY TO CLEAN! The top "roof" of the house slides up, but it's not enough room to get your hand in the house to clean it. I've had this for just a few months and it's already starting to rust as well. Would not be a bad review if the description was honest and didn't falsely advertise as "weatherproof".

Cute!
Very cute petite bird feeder. It is a nice lime color, good quality and sturdy. The perches can fold up. You load the seed through the top...which can raise up about 8 inches. Drains ok when rains, holds good amount of seed, cleans nicely inside and out. Very pleased.

It's cute and useful
I love this cute bird seed house. Haven't dealt with any rain yet. But I didn't even think of my big scrub jays, that this would be too small for them (it is). However, there is one smart jay that has figured it out. He holds on to the tree with his feet and leans over to get seed from the house. Too smart! But I've noticed that even the small-enough sparrows don't land on the little footholds of the feeder, they just feed from the ground. I love it, and may get another in a different color.

Its cute but mold is the issue
I live in SC (humid climate), and this bird feeder didnt work for me because the food got mold after the first rain. I prefer open feeders since those didnt get covered in mold. This feeder is super cute but unfortunately wasnt performing well.
