I really do think these are the best!
For those that don't know, Melitta are the very original coffee filters. I don't know what else to say other than they are still the best out there that I've used!Long story short, we actually only started using them because of an accident at work when someone ordered a whole case of these Bamboo filters, and it sat unused for so long they were going to get thrown away. When I recognized the name, I immediately volunteered to take them home. We had just gotten a new coffee maker that takes this exact size, so it was a big win for us! We had previously only bought a small pack of cheap filters and didn't think much of it.We didn't realize what we were missing all these years. We have always bought whatever big pack of the cheapest coffee filters we found were and didn't think of it. When we started using these, we immediately noticed a difference in our coffee. It's not like a massive, crazy huge difference, but a noticed improvement. It's just nicer, Smoother and less bitter. We have also never had one break and leak grounds everywhere like the cheap ones often did. I can take it out of the coffee maker and toss it away without a second thought. No more having to use two hands and hope that it hold long enough to get it out. That sums up the filters, they are just better. They are thicker, but not to the point they overflow or anything, even when filled for a large pot of coffee. The crimping is robust and doesn't burst easily. They are also unbleached, meaning no weird residue flavors or anything some cheap filters have. The Bamboo version specifically are a nice touch as well, to the fact they are a bit more environmentally friendly, and are great for compost. That work accident has helped us find a new favorite for our morning coffee routine! Wake up, grind some coffee, while it's grinding we fold the crimping over, pop it in the coffee maker and bam! A good cup of coffee! We no longer buy anything but Melitta for our filters, and it's worth it!

Quality filters for your high end brewer
I used these filters with my Moccamaster. The filters work well with minimal ground coffee particulate. There was no aftertaste from the filters which resulted in a quality robust cup of coffee. Pricey, but well worth the splurge.

Not enamored with the bamboo BUT they're still part of the best brand filters out there...
I'm not overly enamored with these bamboo filters as compared to the plain paper ones, but they work just as well as the regular ones (which were not available at the time I ordered). There is nothing 'wrong' with them except these were a bit more expensive. I wouldn't seek them out to purchase instead of the Melitta plain paper filters, but I'd buy them instead of changing brands as I feel Melitta is the best filter out there...

Best cone coffee filters
I love these coffee filters, they have these micro perforations throughout the filter that just amplifies the flavor. These are made using bamboo which is more sustainable and they aren't bleached white. A simple fold of the double enforced bottom and side seem makes for a perfect fit.

Very durable, worth the 3 cents or so over a the regular filters
The Melitta #4 coffee filters I bought before thsese for some reason started ripping open at the bottom of my Clever Dripper pour over coffee maker, giving me a mug full of sludge. These coffee filters are much stiffer and sturdier, and I haven't had a single one rip open. I think the quality has gone down on the standard Melitta #4's. These are about 3 cents more expensive per filter, but it's worth it not having to redo my coffee in the morning when I'm groggy. Too bad the standard Melitta quality went down.

These bamboo fiber filters do the job and may be more environmentally friendly.
I have used Melitta filters for years always very happy. This is the first time I have used the bamboo version. Taste wise I could tell no difference . Cost about the same ( 5 cents per filter when purchasing multiple boxes) and are made from 40% bamboo fiber which is readily renewable and compostable.
