HOOVO 4S Lipo Battery 14.8V 6200mAh 120C RC Car Battery Hard Case TR Plug

If you’re reading this, you’re probably on the fence — thinking there’s no way these are real 6200mAh packs, or the connectors are junk, or they won’t have any real power. Well, you’d be very wrong. I grabbed a pair because my truck had been sitting for 5–6 years and my old $500 Traxxas packs were completely dead. I wasn’t about to drop that kind of money again, so I figured I’d give these a shot — especially since they come with TRX connectors. Total no-brainer. They fit the X-Maxx perfectly. The TRX connectors plug right into the truck (not the Traxxas charger), so you’ll need a hobby charger or an adapter if you want to use the stock Traxxas charger. Performance-wise, these cells hit hard. Tons of punch, long runtime, and when I ran them down to about 5% and recharged, they actually exceeded the rated mAh. No heat from the main leads, no puffing, and the balance connectors are nicely built with solid ends. I didn’t get these for free — just sharing my luck with a surprisingly well-built, affordable pack. Already ordering more. 🔋💪

Value is outstanding. These I have maybe 4 different volt and mah and this brand is great i.m.o.

DO NOT BUY!!!! Buyers beware False claims on mAh, I purchased the 14.8 6200mah 120c. Opened the box and hooked it up to my Imars D300 smart charger and I could only charge the battery to 3000mah…. I bought these packs for practice packs so I did some runs around the track got the battery to 30% and then hooked it back up to the charger again to see if it would take more of a charge and same thing 3000mah. There’s a reason these batteries are half the cost of other comparable size batteries… you only get half the battery size…..

A little over a month in and one of the batteries hard case came open. The battery will not charge correctly now. The other one is still fine. Edit: changed to a 4 star as they gave me a 50%off code to buy another set of 2 or offered me a 50% refund. Great customer service.

Bought a new X-maxx that I needed batteries for. I never over spend on batteries. I figured I'd probably spend $150 for two 4s batteries. With coupon I paid $75 foe the pair. Half if what I planned on, and I was being cheap at 150! They came storage charged at 3.81 +- .01 volts per cell. They balanced charged well. Ran truck for 20-30 minutes 2 times over the weekend. They discharged perfectly even. Truck has plenty of power. I cant compare them to others but on their own they seem to work great. GREAT BUY! DISCLAIMER: THEY ARE SHORT AND TALL BUT I RUN VELCRO STRAPS SO NOT A PROBLEM. CHECK DIMENSIONS.

Second run of my RC truck the battery shell exploded. Not the lipo battery but the hard shell it was encased in. Will have to finish destroying the battery so I could dispose of it safely. No it was not due to rough driving. Was driving in a parking lot getting used to how the car steers, stops and goes.

Great products in the past bought these and first thing is charge them well one worked and the other won't take charge low cell voltage tried every trick I know and nothing.
