Fits like a glove
Diode dynamics products are high-quality, and I have a few sets of their lights on my bronco. I like these amber covers because when I’m backing up, they hinder some of the bright white light, but yet the red shows through when braking and parking ( these are after market chase lights for four wheeling). Excellent covers, they fit very tight and I have no concerns with them popping off. The only problem is sometimes they are a little tough to get off with the fingers!

As advertised
Simple , functional, cheap. They can be easily removed..so once I'm done using them...in storage they go.Light output was great even after the covers were put on.

Tabs dont click locking the covers down.
The tabs dont lock on mine so wind can and will blow them off. They are a tight fit around the light.Reflects light back on the cab of truck due to the plastic transferring light back to driver when lights are on. They are not as bright as the yellow replacement lenses sold from DD for these lights.( i have the yellow lense replacements as well as these)

The color change option is great, but the fit is not good at all.
First, I love DD lights. I have 3 sets of them across 2 cars, and they are great units. I will be buying more from them as my Subaru projects progress. Now, that said, these covers make me question if they are cheap knock offs. They have the D stamped in them, but you swear they weren't made to really fit their own light housings. The clips don't completely grab onto the housings securely, and I can imagine them getting easily knocked off.So, with that fit, any water or rain gets inside, and gets stuck between the cover and the light lens itself, and condensates very quickly in bad weather. There is no gasket, of any sort on the covers, they rely on an exact tight fit to keep water out, which doesn't happen.Even trying to take the covers back off, the clips that are supposed to secure them seem thin and brittle enough to snap off at any point. The good part, though, is the ability to change my white SS3 combo pods to an amber hue during bad weather. The ability to switch back and forth was a huge plus in my book. But, I'm not sure how long they'll last. Either the clips will snap off, or the entire cover will fall off on a hard bump. Plus, having to take them off to wipe the water out is a huge drawback if you're driving some distance in bad weather.I'll definitely buy more of their lights, but have to carefully consider my color options to avoid using covers to change what I need from them.
