In areas where there isn't any need for a "grip" the stainless steel is polished smoothly.

To the seller: how do you sterilize these without them rusting?

I’ve had mine for over a year and I wipe them with alcohol. No rust.

Are these Fully autoclavable (sterilization safe)?

They are stainless steel but I do not know what grade of stainless. However, I did boil them for 20 minutes before using. Very nice and helpful tools.
