Very easy to use! Just mix it in with the bottle of peroxide developer, give it a really good stir and away you go! I had to use two rounds (so two boxes) as I have thick, dark brown hair and I knew from going to the hairdresser that a lot of my hair can't be lifted in one round. Part of my hair around my forehead and crown did go from level 2/3 to ten but most on the first round got to 6/7. So i did a second round, and then i got to 9/10, after which I applied the toner in the box, and did a seperatly demi colour in silver grey from Wella. For two rounds of bleach and a semi permanent hair dye, my hair is surprisingly soft. I didn't experience any straw like texture or drying. 4*'s as I wish they gave you more toner! I used both sachets of powder and two bottles of developer as I have quite long, thick hair, and yet the tiny sachets of toner they give don't cover the same area! It is a good toner though. P.S - Any reviews giving lower stars because they didn't read the procedure and didn't buy the bottles... I'm not sure you can take that as a good review. It's written almost everywhere that you NEED to use this box with the bottles of developer sold seperately, and they're sold like that so you can determine the % of peroxide you want, with the different amounts giving different results.

i’ve been bleaching my hair with jerome bblonde but its not available on here now so used this thinking it’d had the same result. my scalp BURNED the entire time i had it on (15 minutes as i had to wash it off because of the pain). was mortified to find my hair falling out in the shower, whilst brushing it and even now 2 hours later it’s still falling out. i can’t touch my hair it left it so dry that brushing it was a challenge. the hair shown is only some of my hair that fell out. i never left it on too long and didn’t have an allergic reaction and still my hair fell out. i looked in the mirror to see bright brassy yellow roots i am horrified as i can’t dye it again due to it being so dry and damaged. as you can see it left my roots yellow in comparison to my white hair even though my natural hair is dark blonde. i used 3 different toners, l’oréal purple shampoo, silver shampoo toner and the toner given and it did NOTHING to my roots so now they stand out even more as the rest of my hair is extremely toned. i will NEVER buy this again.

Okay obviously doesn't come with a developer but it's convenient if your doing a bleach bath on the hair. Easy to use
