Everyone else should have a pair of toast tongs. These are a good length. Have used them quite a bit since receiving them. Safety in the kitchen so important. Thinking of giving so.d of these as gifts. These are made of a pretty cherry wood.

Good quality product, careful packaging, and quick delivery. Perfect toast retrieval took - use it every day.

Nicely made, good quality, but a bit too large if you plan to use them with a toaster oven. Probably fine for use with a pop-up toaster.

I am using these to remove toasts from my toaster. Beats a fork (safer duh!), and they fit really well in the slot to remove the toast without burning your fingers or inversing your toaster to drop the toast out... Sturdy too.

I’ve ordered several from Amazon. Some other products are glued on poorly, doesn’t seem like a great quality item. This, on the other hand, seems well-made and is holding upgrade. You can use it for various things, toast, stirfry, sautéing, whatever you want. Cleans up nicely and beautiful as well.

Too long and wide. Hard to fit in toaster and grasp toast or muffin. Smaller version works much better. These should be sold as meat tongs or for something larger than toast unless for a toaster oven. Might work ok there. The Mr.ArtWood Magnetic Wooden Toaster Kitchen Tongs, 8,7" work much better; these I just received and am keeping. I returned the BICB tongs thanks to Amazon's easy return policy.

These tongs are perfect for grabbing the toast, hotdog bun, or english muffin that wants to stick in the toaster. The tongs are long enough so you get good leverage on the toast and the length also protects fingers from getting burned. As other folks have mentioned in the comments, you should season the wood with vegetable oil when you first get the product. After a month or so season the wood again. In low humidity climates you may have to season the tongs on a regular basis. As soon as the tongs look and feel "dried out" you should use the vegetable oil.
