Akuoly Fish Tape 15m Polyester Cable Pulling Wires for Cable Laying, Diameter 4.5 mm

This was an essential aid to laying cables behind plasterboard for a wall hanging TV. The gap was tight and cables are often not stiff enough to push with accuracy over a longer distance, so this rigid coated wire was perfect to solve the problem.

needed to feed a lan cable around a cupboard entering the inside at the back of it. Cupboard was also sealed on one side requiring a hole to be drilled. The other threading was through an enclosed bookcase.Lots of tight right angles. With this being one piece there was no worry of any of it snapping (a trade off of having to then pull through 15m of this). It's very sturdy and difficult to bend the green body part but the end is fairly flexible. All is all this allowed me to do 2 threadings that I would never of done without it

Great fish wire for occasional DIY. Have used it to chase cables and to explore a blocked waste pipe. Only minor gripe is that, in hindsight, I would have preferred one with a reel to wind it up and out, but that increases the price and as this is for occasional use it is not vital.

This is a very good quality fish tape. It made pulling 6 x 2.5mm ring main cable through 25mm conduit so easy. One word of advice...use a cable lubricant makes it so much easier.

Bought this as i thought it would be a good solution for pulling wires through tight spaces, however the cable itself is too stiff to be easily routed through small spaces defeating the purpose of it. On top of that it only comes with 1 attachment which isnt that useful. Had to return.
