Loved, loved, loved it!
Andrea Mara is one of my go to authors. Iโve held back from watching the series until I had read the book but will definitely be watching it now after finishing it. The story mainly alternates between two characters, Marissa and Jenny. Marissa is the mother of the missing boy and Jenny is the mother whose son Marissa had thought her son had gone on a playdate to. What unfolds is a tense, at times heartbreaking as well as shocking read. It has to be a motherโs worst nightmare their child being taken. Why their child? There were so many questions running through my mind whilst reading this story. Marissa and her husband are obviously struggling and are doing everything they can to find their little boy. Jenny is bound by guilt due to the fact that even though she knew nothing about the playdate, it was her son Milo was supposedly having it with. It brings the two mothers together and both are determined to find out answers. There was so much to keep you hooked in the story. The joys of the playground drop offs and pickups, secrets, lies, I could go on but honestly, I could not put it down and read it in a day. I hadnโt expected things to unravel the way they did so it all comes as a surprise and had me racing through the pages. All Her Fault was just brilliant! Hands down this is the authorโs best book yet which is saying something as have loved all her books but this one, wow, it really grabs hold and doesnโt let you go. It messed with my head and the all important conclusion absolutely blew me away. I definitely needed time to process what I had read after finishing it as I was completely shocked by the outcome. Loved, loved, loved it!

Engaging and binge worthy
After seeing so many comments about the shocking twist at the end, I was persuaded to pick up this book. All Her Fault was an engaging, binge-worthy read that kept me hooked throughout. Although the ending was unexpected, I found myself feeling slightly underwhelmed, though Iโm not entirely sure why. It felt a bit rushed and summarised, leaving a few details unclear. I was also confused by the title. โAll Her Faultโ seems to imply blame directed at someone specific, but even after finishing the book, Iโm not sure who thatโs meant to be. In some ways, โAll His Faultโ might have made more sense. That said, itโs definitely worth readingโfast-paced, addictive, and enjoyable overall.

Thrilling
A young 4-year old boy is kidnapped by a fellow pupil's nanny when school ends. It soon becomes evident that it is not a ransom so why has the boy been taken and where is he? Well written, with a solid and somewhat convoluted plot, told primarily (but not exclusively) from the perspectives of the kidnapped child's mother and the woman whose nanny carried out the abduction. Interesting characters, most of whom are flawed or mean-spirited, strained relationships, flashbacks, a number of twists and turns and an unexpected, and some might say, a rather far-fetched denouement. Personally, I enjoyed it. Expect changes in the TV version.

Very much like her other book ๐
Many characters that I had to keep checking who was who also it seemed to me that it had the same narrative as the show Stolen girl. The ending was just silly.

Such a brilliant page turner!
Marissa Irvine arrives at 14 Tudor Grove, expecting to pick up her young son Milo from his first playdate with a boy at his new school. But the woman who answers the door isn't a mother she recognises. She isn't the nanny. She doesn't have Milo and has never heard of Milo or the other boy. And so begins every parent's worst nightmare. This was another absolutely brilliant page turner by Andrea Mara. I mixed hard copy and audio and the narration is excellent too. If youโre looking for a new audiobook, Iโd recommend this one. In usual Mara style, as the reader, you suspect everyone in the story, whether their role is big or small. The book had me guessing right until the end, which I thought was excellent and did not disappoint.

Complex and insightful
I have read several works by this author. All guaranteed to keep you guessing till the end. An example of the distortion of the mind and where self focus and grief can lead. Well worth the read

Lots of twists and turns
Very good story, you were never sure who was guilty. It all comes together with a big shock but a big surprise.

Read it youโll be hooked
It starts with every parentโs nightmare -their child going missing . The first part of the book felt not quite so realistic but maybe thatโs because unless youโve actually been in that situation itโs hard to write how the parents particularly the mother would feel. The middle and last part of the book are absolutely great - so many twists and turns you canโt really work it out and unusually for this type of book the end is brilliant ! Iโm now going to watch the tv series to see how it compares.

All Her Fault: The breathlessly twisty Sunday Times bestseller
One of my favourite books this year. Lots of twists and turns and a surprise ending which delights the reader. I have passed to all of my book group friends.

Not briliant: extra briliant
I love this author but this one is particularly twisted and the end ( Maybe I should say : the endsโฆ ) is breathtaking and unpredictable.
