As a Peritoneal Dialysis patient, I was told not to take a bath, ever. The thought made me miserable, so I invested in a pack of these dressings. They are so large that I can wrap my whole transfer set in gauze and easily cover it with plenty of overlap, so that I CAN enjoy a bath from time to time. Not that I condone going against a doctor’s recommendation. But for me this allows me to take care of my health and still allow myself to have the occasional luxury. Very happy with them. Will likely try some just a little smaller next time.

These waterproof protectors have been amazing. I have a GJ tube and have been able to get in the pool and bath tub. They have given me some freedom and joy to be able to be in water again not just a shower.

Sister has a port so these are great to cover it when she showers. Not harmful to take off either which is a must since she has to put one every time she showers.

Currently using this to protect a PICC line port for showers. Be careful because this is very sticky. I have had to add a square of gauze in the middle to prevent adhesion to the PICC line port. But, it does the job of preventing water from hitting the surface at the port.

Works well but takes 2 to apply, & waterproof tape needs to be added to seal the edges.

I ordered these to cover my j-tube for the beach. It works well. I recommend ordering from this company. I have ordered several medical products from them. Living with a feeding tube is hard physically as well as mentally. This company encloses a very uplifting card with their items. I think that is very thoughtful of them to take the time to put a smile on a person's face.

You can’t let the shower hit straight on it or they’ll come unglued

My dad is 83 and just started dialysis with a list instead of a fistula. He is VERY concerned about infection and getting his port etc. These waterproof bandages had the best reviews so that is why I went with these. If these can provide him with keeping his apparatus's dry and clean we will continue to order. We are looking for peace of mind ultimately. So far he is very happy with them.

Está genial este parche. En verdad funciona para ducharse. No pasa el agua. Solo hay que tener cuidado en aplicarlo bien. Después de colocarlo en la zona que se quiere proteger, hay que eliminar el plástico grueso que se quita jalando con cuidado la tira azul.
