This item is very handy and helpful for closing the screen door. It is NOT designed to use for closing both doors when screen is attached to outer door. You risk wrecking the screen door and/or pulling out or bending the handle. Installation isn't difficult per following the instructions, but key is measuring the door and opening properly. Need to get ends properly placed so screws will go into door like other screws already in the door and making sure when door is closed the bracket won't hit the door frame.

This makes it so much easier to exit the camper when my hands are full! I installed it where the bar covers the handle so I just push the bar down to open the door, and it works like a charm. Before I installed this, I was finding myself grabbing -at the screen to close the door, causing the screen to pop out, this eliminated that problem!

Seems very well constructed and if it fits your type of screen door this would work amazing. It seems to only work on some types of doors and ours apparently wasn’t it. So sad. But I’m sure it will be great for many.

Mounted easily love it. Only problem I had was using the screws. I change them out with Phillips head screws, which I had.

This bar was very easy to install but it does require you to drill 2 self-tapping screws into your screen door frame so if you wanted to remove it in the future you would be left with 2 small screw holes in your door. Frankly, I can't imagine why you would want to remove it as it makes opening the screen door effortless and closing the door just as easy with the full width grab bar. Easy instructions, all the hardware included for 2 different mounting methods (one fixed solid to door and the other for hinging to the door handle). A must have in my opinion, and one that the rv manufacturers should simply install from the factory.

I love this screen door assist! Makes opening and closing the RV screen door from inside so much easier especially if you have your hands full. Wish we had done this sooner. Everyone that sees it loves it! You won’t regret it. Install took a little figuring out, but we did it.

Wanted an easier way to open the door when your hands are full. This does the trick. You can install it as either a door push exit handle as I did, or just as a handle to pull the door shut. Keep in mind that this is marketed as a screen assist, so do not use it as a grab bar, because it won't support any weight. All the necessary components come with the product and the instruction booklet has instructions for both screen assist and as a handle. You do have to screw into the frame of your screen door, so be mindful of that. I would recommend this product.

Excellent Product ... very easy installation makes the door function so much better

This bar fit right on our travel trailer door and works quite well. I didn’t think it was a big deal but after having it on our recent camping trip it turned out to be quite handy for pulling the screen door closed as well as opening it. A good addition.

Very handy addition to your screen door. I have rated it 4 stars because it’s overpriced for what it is. Installed in minutes. Instructions are not very well laid out but YouTube was a lot more user friendly and I was done in 5 minutes. I would recommend buying one.
