Working well for my pup with Cushings!
I've been purchasing this brands regular Melatonin for my little 12 yr old Maltese for years. She has some anxiety especially in the evenings so she would get one every night before bed & it's always helped her sleep. She was recently diagnosed with Cushings & the prescription medication Vetoryl caused many terrible side effects, the worst being she had weakening in her back legs & became unable to stand up or walk on her own! My vet said this IS a known side effect of that particular medication but it's very rare. After speaking with her in length about it & getting her okay, I decided to take her off the medication completely & go with a more holistic approach. I learned that Milk Thistle & Lignans were good for treating Cushings naturally & I was happy to find that this particular brand made a Melatonin supplement that included those 2 ingredients so I purchased a bottle immediately! They are chewable & Peanut Butter flavored & my little girl looks forward to getting one every night now! She has been off the prescription medication & taking these instead for about 3 weeks...she's fully regained use of her back legs & her Cushings symptoms (panting, excessive drinking, bloated belly) have all gotten much better! She still has these symptoms but no where near as severe as they were! I would definitely speak with your vet before switching from prescription meds to these as it may not be the right solution for every dog with Cushings & it can be dangerous to suddenly stop a medication without being weaned off slowly but you can also give these along with prescription Cushings medication so it's atleast worth a try in my opinion.

Worked for our Pup
We have had our dog on these pills for about 5 months. I tried because she has had Cushings for about 3 years and thought it might help. She also takes Vetoryl, so we give her these in pill pockets. We have not had any issues with her not taking the pills or tummy issues. After about 6 weeks, we began to see improvement. I told the vet and she was skeptical, but didn’t see anything that would hurt her. Over time, Siena has grown back most of her hair, she has a lot more energy and has not been drinking near as much water. I took her back to the vet for her yearly check up in December and the vet was amazed at the improvement. This time she took a picture of the bottle and had it recorded in Siena’s chart. She is continuing to strengthen her back legs and has been jumping up on things that she has not been able to jump on in quite a while. She still plays the princess card asking to be helped, but then she is a princess. Based on our experience, we would recommend this product.

Decent Vitamins, but flavor is not for all pups.
I recently tried the K9 Select Multi-Formula Dog Vitamins for my smaller dogs, and while I appreciate the quality of the ingredients, I have to say that my pups are not fans of the peanut butter flavor. They seem to hesitate when it comes to taking these vitamins, which is surprising since they usually enjoy their supplements. We’ve loved this brand in the past, especially the beef flavor, which they devour without any hesitation. The vitamins themselves contain great ingredients like HMR Lignans, melatonin, and milk thistle, which are beneficial for heart, liver, digestion, and skin health. Overall, if your dogs enjoy peanut butter, these might work for you. However, I would recommend sticking with the beef flavor if your pups have a preference. We still appreciate the brand and the quality, but I hope they expand their flavor options in the future!

I don’t know what to say
My pups hair started growing back almost immediately she has more energy and clearly these are helping with cushions type symptoms. However She’s tiny so I got the 1 mil ones chewable tab peanut butter at any cost she will find a way to spit it out. Cheese treats hiding it in anything I have resulted to begging her to take it so she can have breakfast or dinner. It really must taste awful. I wish they could do something… but maybe they cannot. Ya know how some vitamins taste good but they are not working. Maybe this one has to be this way. In this case I wish it was SMALLER and not flavored so I could hide it better and more easier. I want to give a lower score to get their attention but it’s working the pill is working so how can I give it a bad rating. Will I look for a different brand? Possibly… she grown to dread it and I cannot think of new ideas to hide it. 😭

Not recommended
These did not help my dog with Cushings. He didn't want to take them, like he knew they weren't good for him. Shortly after taking these, his health declined rapidly and he passed away.

Good price
I bought this for my baby diagnosed with Cushings desease. Even if it’s chewable, she didn't like it. Maybe unflavored would have been better. And she started having tummy aches. Shippings was fast and price was great compared to others.
