I love this face cream after my shave. It's really soothing after an elec. OR manual razor shave. The only thing I didn't like was that they changed the size and shape of the bottle. The old style taller, skinnier, aluminium bottles were much more attractive, fit better in your hand and easier to store. Oh well, I have not found anything better to use on my face. It just smells good and leaves your face nice and smooth.

This is a fine product

Smells unnatural. Arrived with a broken bottle the first time, with liquid all over the packaging. Replacement has a quirky pump. The product that comes out is runny liquid, not a balm. I'm a wet shave purist. No plans of seeing the bottom of this bottle.

So I'm looking for a new pre-shave, shave cream/soap, and after shave balm. My fall-back go to since 2010 has been the Art of Shaving Sandalwood. In the last couple of years they've changed up their formula, and it doesn't have the same long-lasting smell as it did before. What I'm looking for is a scent that people smell and comment on how great it smells, like they did when I first started using AoS products. This product didn't fill those hopes. This after-shave balm is mediocre. Pros: - It has the exact same scent profile as the oil and cream, so you don't have to worry about conflicting scents. - They give you a lot of it in this bottle. I mean, I will probably run out of everything else twice before I use this up. Cons: - The scent, like the rest of the line of products doesn't meet the AoS Sandalwood standard. This stuff has more of a barbasol scent, but added in a hint of sandalwood with a sweet smelling profile. Almost as if you combine barbasol and swisher sweets (small sweet smelling cigars). It's not a bad smell, just not what I'm looking to be my go-to scent. - The scent wears off about halfway through the day. I want a scent that stays.

I love this product. I am required to shave for work. Now, I can finally look forward to shaving because of this smooth and refreshing aftershave that leaves my skin soft and not greesy. I absolutely recommend it!

It really nourishes your skin after shaving, without any burns or irritation you get from after shave with harsh chemicals.

Rocky Mountain Barber Company Sandalwood Aftershave Balm After being so impressed with how good my skin feels from using Rocky Mountain Barber Company's Sandalwood Shaving Cream I just had to try the balm too. 5oz (150ml) Does any other company offer such a sizeable amount in one container? And no, it's not because you need to use more! Believe me, the basic two pumps is more than enough! Just like Rocky Mountain Barber's other shaving products this comes in a gorgeous aluminium container. There's just something about the way these guys package their shaving products that makes them so appealing to me as a man. I wasn't surprised by the quality of this aftershave balm or how well it works, because of my experience with the other products I already use from them, it soothes, it moisturises and keeps my face feeling amazing all day long, as I expected. But a couple of things that did surprise me, that I wasn't expecting, was just how long the aroma of sandalwood lasts on the face. It's not overpowering by any means, it just subtly lingers. Also, I was hugely impressed by how well this balm works into the face. Quickly warmed in the palms and then applied to the face, it instantly absorbs into the skin, no greasy or slimy residue what so ever, just a soft, revitalised and smooth aromatic face in seconds. For a product that contains all natural ingredients this stuff works ridiculously well. I've even taken things a step further over the past few days. I shave at night to free up a little morning time as I leave for work at 6am. So I've actually started applying a single pump of this aftershave balm, after washing in the morning, to act as a moisturiser. And oh man, it's working so well.

Third class balm

I'm cheap and I was fretting about the price for a small bottle. But I like supporting Canadian companies so I smashed the piggy bank and got the Sandalwood balm. Awesome! You only need a small dot on your finger (about a dime). The dispenser puts it right on your finger and doesn't fire it across the bathroom. Work it around on your skin so it warms up and the scent is terrific. I really like it!
