BYS Eyeshadow Palette (12x Eyeshadow, 2x Applicator) - Matte 12g/0.42oz

Pigment dense. I use with a primer, so it goes on saturated and blends well, lasts all day like my MAC shadows at a fraction of the price. Tip: if a dark shadow doesn't blend smoothly enough, use one of the neighboring lighter shades to blur the edges. (Some may appear to be duplicate shades, but aren't).

This is a very solid, versatile palette. The colors are all neutrals and absolutely matte; even the lightest shade, “Pure”, has zero shimmer or shine. Many other ‘matte’ palettes sneak a shimmer or two in the mix (like my Urban Decay Nakeds) so I was very pleased to see this one did not. The shadows are finely milled and apply smoothly and evenly. They don’t have the same degree of pigmentation as pricier shadows but they are buildable, so you can go for a soft wash of color or layer up for a more intense, dramatic look. They come nicely packaged in a hard plastic case that seems sturdy and durable. You’ll want to toss the flimsy applicators that come with it but there’s a nice deep well for storing a decent brush or two. I have dual-ended brushes from both Stila and Sephora and they each fit in the palette. The ‘mirror’ is a coated piece of plastic that distorts your reflection quite a bit but it’s better than nothing. At this price point, I can forgive the less-than-stellar applicators and mirror. The BYS palette is a steal.

I love this pallet. It's me go-to for colors. I'm a neutral tone so the cooler/neutral tones in here are PERFECT for my complexion. They blend well and build on each other wonderfully. I've already bought one, used it up, and bought another. Would absolutely recommend.

I was kind of skeptical going into this because of how cheap it was for how much you get, but it was definitely a great purchase! The colors are very pigmented and easily blended. They also go well together and you can create very nice looks with it. They are all matte with very little to no shine which I actually prefer. The only two gripes I have is the brushes that come with it are terrible (which is honestly fine with me because I already have some that I like) and the mirror is not the best. It reminds me of something at a circus that is made of plastic and is ment to distort your features. Overall it was definitely a great product and I would buy again!

I just have to say I love, love, love this matte palette. Everyone should know that the best application starts with a primer, much the way paint color on a wall does for best results. For those that say it flakes or doesn't last you should not skip the step of primer. I always say you can even use dollar store eye shadow with good results if you use a primer. What I love about this is the beautiful array of neutral matte colors that create a lighter or darker smokey eye. I prefer to mix several colors together to achieve a unique smokey look and this palette has it all. I've own many eye shadow palettes, however, this is now my go to palette for day or night looks. I would suggest you try YouTube videos from Dominique Sachse. She does some very good applications of eye shadow to learn from and good blending. It has helped me and thought I would pass it along. Again for those not liking shimmer as we age on the eyes this palette is excellent since all are matte. Also I would suggest NYX eye shadow base, works very well for the primer and it last all day with intensification of the color of the shadow as well. Go for it you won't be disappointed.

I love this shadow and have used it exclusively for years. But what they sent is not the same as pictured- the ones with names for each color. The main color I buy this for, the rosy shade is not even included. It has more smokey and beige colors than what is shown. Some are the same. But not what I wanted. Otherwise, the shadow is nice. Lasts long, nicely pigmented.
