SEEDS OF CHANGE Certified Organic Brown Basmati Rice, Organic Food, 8.5 OZ Pouch

I made brown rice in my rice cooker. Once. It took much longer than white rice and the steam coming out of the vent hole in the lid left a residue on the counter. Seeds of Change takes 90 seconds in the microwave (or can be cooked on the stove) and makes no mess; the rice is perfectly nutty and chewy.

This rice tastes so good, has simple clean ingredients, and very easy to make. It’s a staple in my pantry for meal prep.

I love having this rice on hand for when i don’t have time to stove top cook. My hubby is NO/low sodium only!! This is only quick micro rice I have found low sodium! and it is really good too! So glad i found on Amazon as stores only have high sodium ones!

I purchased this Seeds of Change Certified Organic Brown Basmati Rice twice now and love it! For health reasons (food allergies and being a cancer survivor), I almost always opt for brown rice over white rice. I also try to eat almost exclusively organic and gluten free. The preparation time on this rice takes only 90 seconds in the microwave, and it comes out piping hot and "fluffy" (be careful when removing the package from the microwave because it is very hot; I squeeze the package so the rice is at the bottom of the package and stands up). The combination of brown and basmati rice is really good, making it an ideal accompaniment to any entree. When serving it as a side, I add a tablespoon of unsalted organic butter by Whole Foods, but if you use salt, that would be great, too). I am making homemade chicken soup today and plan to add some of this rice to it during the last hour of cooking time. I can't wait to buy more and highly recommend this product for its taste and ease of preparation.
