IKEA Shelf Unit

OK I measured my space and got a shelf that would fit. Only somehow my imagination made it much bigger than it actually is. Most of the stuff I was going to put on it won't fit. That's ok, I'll rearrange and use it for smaller stuff. Shelf is lightweight, looks very nice and is quite sturdy. It was somewhat of a pain to assemble. You can't put the four feet on the bottom. They don't click in as the instructions indicate; they just fall out. What you have to do, is put one foot in, hold it, then insert the post that goes between the bottom shelf and the next shelf. Then it clicks. Does require lining everything up and pushing fairly strongly, but this 72 yr old arthritic woman put it together in about 15 minutes. I don't think it will come apart easily, so I would not plan on disassembling it routinely. It is little and lightweight however and I think It would fit easily in the back seat of my car if I was using it in a craft show. Plastic is waterproof and should be easy to clean. I am happy with it. I am not bothering to fasten it to the wall although it does come with hooks to do so if you live in an earthquake prone area.

It’s easy to put together and feels very sturdy, much sturdier than other plastic shelves I’ve used. However, it is small! The dimensions are accurate, it was my perception of what it would actually look like that was off!If you’re looking for a small shelf, then you can’t go wrong with this one. It looks nice for a plastic shelf and it is sturdy.

It’s an IKEA piece, so of course the directions were easy to follow. After moving into a condo with a Laundry Closet containing a stacked washer/dryer, there is a 9” wide x 12” deep up to 28” high. I was hoping I could add the top shelf of this unit over the hoses going into the wall. Unfortunately, that too piece didn’t fit over the hoses, so I was able to remove the top shelf and risers. It will work until I can find something better.There are very few tall, slim cabinets/shelves for sale on Amazon. There is one set of shelves that could work as it’s 9” x 9” x 63. Problem is that many people complained the instructions are not clear, and there is no division or identification of various screws, making assembly very difficult. Plus, they want a whopping $84! No way.

I had a very small space next to my elevated shower. It was raised to allow a pump underneath. All my shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, lotions were lined up around the base of the shower with me bending over to access them. This shelving unit has enhanced my life! Its everything I hoped for. I can even store my wash cloths next to the shower. Its perfect.

Easy & quick to assemble; Needed extra storage in my bathroom small enough to fit in corner behind door. Gave it a little bling on the top shelf :)

None of my pieces came broken, FYI.I have had one of these shelves before from years ago. Maybe me misremembering things with the passage of time, but I don’t recall it being this difficult to construct the unit. Had to really shove some pieces to get them to click, while some corners snapped in easily. Weird. Took me about 20 minutes to assemble because I was rather confused with how to align things properly, but that was just me—it’d probably take you 10 minutes or less.As described, no need for tools. It’s snap-in plastic pieces. In any case, this variant feels… cheap. Quality feels like an afterthought in favor of mass production. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend you put anything that could shatter in the individual shelf units in case it collapses. I’d put things like tissue boxes, plastic bottles of soap/lotion, and other insignificant items that’d still be fine in the event the thing falls apart or tips over.

I didn't have too much expectation for this since it was plastic, but it's surprisingly sturdy. I bought it for the small space between my washer and the wall and it's perfect to hold my Costco Kirland laundry soap, Medium Snuggle bottle, Snuggle Scentpacks and a normal sized Clorox brand bottle. No wobbling and doesn't come apart when I lift it to clean under.

The unit came with a broken piece out of one corner of one try. The broken piece was not in the package. It was obvious that this was returned once before then repackaged and sent to me. After trying to put the snap in legs together, it is apparent that someone tried to force it together and broke the corner of the shelf. It's too bad because it was exactly what I wanted.
