Comfortable, stylish and ergonomic for your feet and toes
I was looking for zero drop or barefoot shoes with a wide toe box to restore foot and toe mobility. These WHITIN shoes balance cushion and barefoot feel of the ground beneath you. What I like: 1) Comfortable and light feels great to walk on. 2) The reinforced lace holes provide stable and snug feel when laced up, but you can wiggle the toes have plenty of room. 3) Fabric is strong that I wear them in the gym. 4) The colors are deep and cool. In addition to white, I have gray and black which are my favorite casual shoes. 5) They are reasonably priced for the quality. 6) The non-slip gum soles prevent slipping that you may find with other lighter shoes that use foam soles. 7) These pack small so they don't take much room in a travel bag. 8) The fabric do not easily stain and stays fresh looking.

Excellent for a gentle introduction into barefoot shoes.
These were the first shoes I ever had that actually fit my too wide feet. Easily the most comfortable shoes I ever wore and they immediately addressed some pinch blisters I was struggling with. I've had them for almost two years now as daily drivers, and they held up very well. The tread is wearing away, but no holes formed and the threads/stitching have only showed some fraying. I've switched to more minimal sole Softstar shoes, and comparatively the WHITIN shoes soles are notably thicker, so they seem to be on the thicker end of barefoot shoes. But, I'd argue this makes them very good starter shoes in getting used to the feeling of barefoot shoes. You can also remove the insole for a thinenr sole, but for whatever reason this never felt right to me. Affordable and comfortable, these are a safe test in seeing if these kinds of shoes are for you. I believe they made my feet more prepared for the Softstars. My WHTINs still have life left in them so I'm happily saving them for the time when I need a more robust sole. They're great for yard work and the like. Just don't do anything with water or take these out into the rain, these shoes suck up water like a sponge. Also worth noting, the shoes squeak a lot on certain smooth floors. This squeaking eventually goes away as the soles are worn in.

Great value
Cheap, simple and comfortable. This item is in value category, it works well, looks good and is very cheap at the same time. Keep in mind this is shoe is tough on the feet, it has minimal cushion so unless you are ready to handle this type of shoes it may make your feet sore very quickly. Grip is very good, toe box is large - they are comfortable. One negative is that material facing the ground makes squeaking noise on most hard surfaces, no issues with pavement, asphalt, but indoors - it will be an issue. If you will be using these indoors most of the time - I advise you find another options, these are great for outdoors. It is a 4 start because of the noise they make on some surfaces - otherwise great value.

Fixed my husband's plantar fasciitis and held up for 4 years and still going!
I've had these for almost 4 years. I have bought many more since these as I've really loved these shoes since these are my working shoes! I have put these shoes through the ringer to say the least! We are gutting our house and I have used them from everything inside to everything outside work related. I have done lumber work, busted sheetrock, put up sheetrock, tilled, mowed, moved rock, dug trenches, hauled dirt, soaked them, washed them, and repeat. They hold up to the washer and dryer. They look like they're falling apart, but truly they're so comfortable even still! The soles towards the toe can be super glued back and new insoles can be purchased if you're looking to stretch them. I am amazed at how they are just now looking like this. I have wore these things soooo much! I changed all my shoes over to barefoot/anatomical shoes and these have outbeat top brands. Plus the price point keeps me coming back. My whole family wears them, kids included. These shoes have fixed my husband's plantar fasciitis. He went to the chiropractor and got those expensive insoles and they only helped a little, but got worse over time. He wears nothing else now and is also sold on these. They hold up a long time and are the widest free range shoe I've had! Making them the most comfortable! I can't rave on these enough!

Super comfy summer shoes!
Super comfortable shoes for summer! I love the wide toe box and the flexibility. The shoes are also very breathable. Time will tell how long they last, but so far they’ve been great. I like the looks too. Reminds me of my old vans but with more room for my Fred Flintstone feet.

Sole comes detached
At first I love these shoes. Super comfy..good price. Easy to take on and off. However, the soles are not stitched to the rest of the shoe..they are simply glued which seems to come undone for me around the 6 month mark. Is it an issue of humidity or getting them wet? Why can't they just stich these? If you get them, do not get them wet and store them indoors in low humidity.

Great value for the price!
So, where do I start I am on my feet for about 10 hours a day. I work on a assembly line and we do have a very nice mat that is under us which is about a 1/4 inch thick. But, we walk all day, with no sitting, so you are on your feet all day. I myself have a bit of a narrow foot I think, and for years, I mean, all of my life I have worn shoes that just tear my feet apart. That is mainly all shoes would give me a really bad callus on my big toes. I learned fast that I could not wear shoes with a lot of bells and whistles. I needed shoes flat. I found that flat shoes worked best for me. So for a long while now I have worn cheap chuck taylors from dollar general. But they would only last about 6 months. Needless to say, I could not find them in my area any more and even those would tear my toes apart on a long day. So, I tried another flat shoe form walmart, and again, they would tear up my toes. So, a lady I worked with had a pair of these, and I had been in the market for some and thought I would give them a try. So, I have worn them three days now and I will give my first impressions. My left shoe felt fine most of the time, but the right always seemed like there was something weird going on with the insert. I also felt a tightness around my arch and the top of my foot. I love the wide toe box, and no rubbing for my toes now, but the middle of the foot was a bit snug for me. Doing some research after buying these I found that you can take out the insole. Some say that these are not barefoot shoes, I think mainly because of the insole. The insole has a bit of a arch to it. So today, I took out the insole and replaced the insole with some flat rubber drawer liner I had laying around. I saw on the internet that some would use a yoga mat, but this is all I had. So, with that said, depending on if you want a arch or not, I would say get these and try them with the insoles that come with them, or maybe make your own. I want to be as close to the ground as possible, because I do want to feel like I am bare foot. I do wear thick wool socks most of the time too, so, that could have made them more snug in the center, but the insole still had a lot to do with it. So I wore them today for the first time with my homemade insole. So far so good. I will give them a real test this week at work. I just love the fact that my toes are not getting almost rubbed raw every day. All in all like any new shoes, there are some getting use to and a break in process. For me, the break in needs to happen in the top around the mid section and the arch area. I would recommend these to anyone who is wanting to get into barefoot shoes. For the price these would be a good transition shoe. As far as barefoot shoes go, I do not think I am going back to normal shoes. My toes can't take the punishment anymore, and I love the idea that my whole foot is working through out the day. So I encourage anyone to give these at try. The quality seems good. I will give more of a update later as I wear them longer.

Stability and comfort at an incredible price.
If you have severe polyneuropathy (sensory/motor) and have difficulty with balance, these shoes will really work well. The dangers are, as usual for this condition, is that it might be possible to step on a sharp rock, piece of glass, etc. and not feel it and cause some damage. In addition, I have a neuropathic ulcer on my right big toe, mainly due to ankle problems that make that foot duck toed (turn out to the right) but I STILL use these shoes indoors for the stability. The tongue curves down a bit at either side, so they don't just "slip on," but after a few days, that curve disappears and it is very easy to just pull them on. They are very comfortable.

Comfortable -- game changer for long walking days
The wide toe box is a game changer. If you're not used to shoes like this, there can be an adjustment period for your foot muscles. Saved our feet in Disneyland!

Perfect
I wear 11.5 EE wide shoes. I can almost never find shoes that fit. I ordered the 12 wide, and they’re perfect. They fit and wear like socks as the material is knit, and stretches to fit your foot. I have honestly never worn a more comfortable shoe in my life. You can feel cracks in the sidewalk and little pebbles. I bought these for Tai Chi, and they’re the perfect martial arts shoe for people with wide feet. Outstanding shoes.
