Great value, teeny tiny hole. Requires some ingenuity.
Before I made my purchase, I looked at the reviews on this product. Many people complain about the teeny tiny little hole with which to string through the connecting wristband. Taking that information into consideration I started initially with a floss threader that I use for my Bridge. What I found work was threading the loop end of the threader through the small hole and digging it out with a safety pin. The loop would often get caught in the needle end of the safety pin, and would come through quite quickly. I would then Loop the thread end of the wristband threw the floss threader and pull it through the hole. Then I would unloop them from each other and loop the wristband end through the thread end. The process went very quickly, once I figured it out. If you so, I would think that you could also use one of the metal gauges that you use for threading a needle to do the same thing. The caps fit very nicely on my lenses, and the quality seems good. So, yes, threading it is a bit of a PUTA, but that should not prevent you from purchasing it anyway, particularly now that you have simple instructions on what to use and how to do it.

55 mm lens cap and keepers
These are not the "sticky" type, I actually have to push the cord through a tiny hole (use a pointed tweezers) then wrap through the bar and the elastic attaches around my lens. These are the best thing for not losing the lens cap! Nothing to come unstuck-- ever! They fit my Nikon D3300 perfectly and I never have to worry about finding it. Great quality too! Highly recommend!

High quality leash and comes with tool to attach it.
I just purchased an old camera kit with three lenses - no caps. The lenses are all different diameters, so I had to purchase three separate lens cap packs. I ended up going with three different companies, so I could compare and contrast. This one was the best of the three by far.For the 58mm lens I bought a set by Altura. This came with the leashes already threaded, which was a big bonus, but the threading was simply a very thin elastic cord that I then had to figure out how to wrap around my lens (and stay there). After I figured it out (sort of), I looked in the bag and also found a package of stick on leashes. Am I supposed to use these too? Instead of the other leashes? I’m confused. The 55mm lens caps I ordered were surprising in that they said Nikon on them (they were not sold by Nikon). The leash was also just an thin elastic string that was not attached, and wasn’t even tied! That left this one, the 52mm Waka caps. Yes, attaching the leash took some effort, and like another customer, I ended up having the elastic come through the cover on one of the leashes (I only needed one, so I just switched it out and started again). What I wish they had stated on the instructions is that there is a tool in the box to help with the installation. I didn’t know it was in there, and didn’t even know to look for it. Anyway, the leash on these caps is a considerably better quality than on the other two sets I purchased. It is not just a string, but a wide stretchy band that fits nicely over my lens, and stays on it securely.I will be purchasing this brand for my other lenses as well.

Good quality, easy to setup with included tool
Very good. It came with a tool (similar to a sim removal tool which comes with mobile phones) and threading the strings through the lens cap was super easy with the tool. It took me about 10-15 seconds to get the strings attached to the lenscaps.Just insert the string from top hole on the lenscap and using the SIM tool pull the string out from the bottom hole in the lens cap.Overall nice design and the strings are stretchable enough to fit on my telephoto lens (Nikon 18-300) with the lens fully zoomed out. I deducted one star because one of the lenscap's release mechanism (internal spring) was noisy. I feel the Nikon OEM lenscap is of marginally better quality with smoother and silent release mechanism. But for the price and design convenience this lenscap bundle is very good. I don't have to worry about loosing my lenscap anymore or fiddle with the glue coming off from the other type of lenscap strings in the market.

Physically impossible to get the string through the hole successfully - But seller is making it right.
The stings and caps are a mismatch...and a Dremel tool will not save the day.Unfortunately, the provided strings DO NOT fit through the hole molded into the (52mm in this case) caps. If you manage to begin passage of the string into the hole, you will quickly discover that the hole is so tight as to remove the braided nylon from the enclosed fishing line material, thus rendering the string as a fishing line only solution. Using a caliper to measure, it is clear that the hole needs to be at least 1mm greater in diameter to have even a chance of passing through. Unfortunately, I attempted to enlarge the hole by just over one millimeter using a Dremel tool, which breaks the lens cover entirely (because there is not enough "meat" in the part itself). Trust me, I was a manufacturing engineer in a lab environment for decades.Sadly, the caps themselves are good, as are the strings, but they are a incompatible with each other. The manufacturer must surely know these do not work together. I could not return these because of the mods I tried.UPDATE: The seller has kindly offered to send replacements, with the strings inserted prior to shipment. Because of this unsolicited offer, I feel the review should be changed from 2 stars to 4 stars.

Perfect! Need a pair of pointed tweezers & you're good to go.
I LOVE these! I had the lens keeper that sticks on but it came unstuck and I almost lost my lens cover. I like being able to pop it off and let it drop without having to find a pocket to stash it in. I got it threaded on the first attempt: Thread the doubled thin strap into the little round hole on the top of the lens cap. Use a pair of pointed tweezers to grasp the thin cord through the rectangular opening on the edge of the cap below the small round hole. Pull the thin cord out a couple of inches and thread the larger end through the thin cord. Pull it snug and attach to your camera or camera strap.

Cheap, Reliable, Sturdy
Ordered these last week and so far they've been brilliant; at a fraction of the price they do exactly the same as the canon Lens Caps!Pack Includes- 3 Camera Lens Caps to protect your lenses- 3 Ties to attach Caps to Camera- Cloth to clean camera lensPros- Cheap with good build quality- Reliable and Snug Fitting- The ties that come included mean that I probably won't have to buy replacements anytime soon (I usually go through 3 lens caps a month through carelessness)Cons- Difficult to atttach the ties to the lens capsI recommend using a drawing pin. You'll save yourself so much time.SummaryAlthough attaching the ties to the lens caps was a somewhat challenging task. I can now snap away and not worry about leaving my lenses behind and I have faith in the build quality of this product hence the 5 stars!Very happy Canon 70d owner 😁**Please note that I purchased these Lens caps for a 55mm Lens**

Really good value for money
This is a very inexpensive bundle and I was expecting only average quality. In fact I was really impressed both by the speed of delivery and the quality of the lens caps and elastic keeper chords - and you get a lens cloth as well! They fit my filter mounts more securely than my Leica caps and have a slightly smaller profile which is cosmetically nicer. I use B & W and Carl Zeiss filters and obviously it is very important to order the correct size of cap as this is not a 'universal' product. I rated 'ease of use' at 4 stars because it is quite fiddly to assemble the caps and keeper chords. I followed the enclosed instructions to use a ballpoint pen but this didn't work so I used the wrong end of a needle instead (as I didn't want to pierce/damage the chord). Then by chance I discovered that enclosed in the packet is a mobile phone reset pin which is perfect for the job! They should mention this on the package as it makes life so much simpler than trying to use a Biro. I only realised when it fell on the floor after I had finished.

Excellent product
A very handy lens cap that would be a very useful accessory for my Sony camera ...Unfortunately Sony lens cap has to be pocketed or held separately once you remove it. I have taken this camera on sailing, hiking on mountains and on ice. Twice I have lost my lens cap as the original sony lens cap slipped through my hands. The string with the elasticated band is a very useful feature with the wake lens cap and I was pleasantly surprised that for that price you get 3 lens caps ( one Sony lens cap will cost £17) with three ties as well as a cleaning cloth. Another useful tool that is supplied is the pin to thread the string through the holes in the lens cap. The steps are shown on the product box which is quite good and the actual process of threading is quite simple. The supplied pin is adequate and one does not need a sharp pen or pencil as mentioned in the steps. Also as is not shown in the steps I make a knot once he string us through the two holes of the lens cap and pass the elasticated band over the body of my lens. The elasticated band is useful as it can stretch depending on the lengthen of the lensOverall a very recommended accessory and I can simply take the lens cap off without fear of it dropping from my hands

You won't lose them
Replacements for Canon original lens cap which with nothing to keep them with the lens just knock off and get lost. These work brilliantly and the expanding band really doesn't get in the way. Pushing the lead through the tiny hole is a bit tricky, I used the end of a paper clip and got the hang by the third one. As different lenses have different sizes might be useful if you could purchase a mix of sizes.

Caution with the inner part of the cap
The lens cap is great, it works well. I used it for 1 trip and it felt really sturdy and secure. However I realised the inner part of the cap is quite thick that it left a mark on the lens. I am quite certain about this because i tested it again and the marking corresponds with the round spot in the inner cap (above the printed diameter). But i think it may also happened because i didn't put the cap on properly. Unfortunately, i'm not using it anymore. It's a great product, just maybe need some improvement to it's design.
