I bought both sizes but I haven't used them yet. The fabric and frame of the umbrellas feel very robust. The springs are pretty strong, so it took a little bit of effort to collapse them but that may change over time. As other reviews have said, the umbrellas are pretty large when collapsed, I've photographed the smaller umbrella next to my regular compact umbrella. It's something that I would probably only carry in a backpack, the smaller umbrella is 445g & the large 500g, for comparison my regular compact umbrella in the photo weighs 200g.

Well built umbrella and fits with description shown in the picture. Weight is manageable. One button operation to close and open it. Seems to have good wind resistant and good sun protection as canopy is of good quality UV coated material with double layer and vent. Carbon fiber and steel mixed cage with springs in place for wind resistance

It really is bigger and heavier than I expected. Ok if not travelling with weight constraints!

I bought this for my trip to Saudi.Haven't tried it yet but it looks great. I'm sure it's gonna save me from the sun.

Don't waste your money . Flips easier than umbrella from Poundland. Broke easily and very bulky .

The umbrella provides excellent protection from all types of light. Its reflective fabric does a great job of reducing heat from the sun, and the vented openings at the top allow airflow to pass through, improving stability and comfort. While it is somewhat heavy, the weight is reasonable considering how large it opens. The silver reflective finish looks great and performs exactly as intended.

Este paraguas es simplemente sobresaliente, la fabricación, diseño y materiales son de primera calidad. Las varillas interiores y la del mango son mucho más resistentes que las de cualquier paraguas de cualquier tienda departamental y la redondez de las varillas internas es muy buena porque en otros paraguas de baja calidad esas varillas a veces tienen filo y más de una playera y chamarra la rasgaron o la rompieron. La doble capa de materiales es sumamente buena y definitivamente si se siente una excelente protección cuando estás expuesto al sol. En mi caso tengo que voy al mercado entre las 11 y las 13 horas cuando el sol ya alcanza entre 25 y 27 grados celsius y la radiación solar es de 11 puntos o más, este paraguas hace descender la temperatura muy notablemente y tu cuerpo te lo agradece mucho. El único detalle que si es importante considerar es que para niños o adultos mayores el paraguas puede ser pesado y si cuesta trabajo cerrarlo después de que se pliega automáticamente porque el resorte interno de la varilla del mango es duro y hay que hacer fuerza para achicarlo y meterlo a su funda. Para una persona normal el paraguas es sobresaliente pero hay que decir que hay que aplicar fuerza para cerrarlo. Muy recomendable para comprar y muchísimo muy superior a lo que encuentras en los mercados y en las tiendas departamentales aún siendo de prestigio. Ah, finalmente la resistencia al viento de primavera el paraguas se mantiene en perfecto estado sin voltearse.

Diagnose Sjögren Syndrom, daher bekomme ich ganz schnell heftigen Sonnenbrand trotz LSF 50+. Da das einen Schub auslösen könnte, muss ich direkte Sonne um jeden Preis vermeiden. Der Schirm hält was er verspricht. Er ist natürlich etwas schwerer als ein herkömmlicher Regenschirm, hat er doch eine ordentliche Beschichtung drauf. Ich habe das schwarze Modell mit Silberbeschichtung gewählt, weil der am zuverlässigsten die UV Strahlung abschirmen soll und ich habe das Gefühl, das tut er auch. Durch den Abstand/Spalt im Schirm entsteht keine sich stauende warme Luft, die kann gut nach oben wegziehen. Das Öffnen per Knopfdruck ist gewaltig, also immer schön Abstand halten zu Personen und Dingen. Das Zusammenklappen bekomme ich mit etwas Kraftaufwand ganz gut hin, bin aber auch kein zierliches Fräulein. Für die kann es etwas schwieriger werden oder sie lassen sich helfen.

I took this umbrella to Bali and it was really useful in keeping me cooler. It worked much better than just having a sun hat.
