This is an excellent keyboard at a very good price. Arrived in good time and was carefully packed. Only problem is my delivery address leaves my house number off and I seem unable to change it on Amazon.

After going through 2 other cheap off-brand 60% keyboards, I now realize I should have paid the extra money and bought this one to begin with. The first thing you will notice is the sheer weight of the keyboard, and that's definitely not a bad thing! It looks and feels like a quality keyboard, and given how heavy it is, there's no way it will be sliding around your desk. Once you put it down, it stays there. It comes with the documentation you would expect, and a nice quality, braided USB cable which is quite long. The keys are bright, and it defaults to a rainbow wave type animation. You can easily install the HyperX nGenuity software - which asks you directly if you would like to opt in or out of their data collection. I thought that was a nice touch, as most software tucks this into the settings somewhere and doesn't tell you about it. The software itself is very easy to configure and appears to support several profiles, which I haven't tested out yet. There are many different animations and colors to choose from. The mechanical keys themselves aren't as "clacky" as some other mechanical keyboards I've used. Personally, I like this better as the weight of the keys themselves seems to be on point. No accidentally slipping on key if your finger brushes over it. Overall, I'm quite happy with the HyperX Alloy Origins. The 60% formfactor is much preferable to me, as my mouse constantly bumps into larger keyboards. At this point, only time will tell if it will stand up to constant use, as I work remotely and will be using it all day long. Here's hoping!

Good quality keyboard. Bought it for my son and likes it very much. Good size and weight.
