Lufkin Crescent Shockforce G2 Nite Eye 25-ft Tape Measure- L1225B-02

Outstanding 25' tape measure! Highly recommended for green on black visibility and wide blade with first 6" reinforcement tape. Lanyard, nail, marking hole, it just works great. Pretty tough also. The only other thing I would have preferred would be self locking instead of the push lock. I will stay with this tape over the 5 or 6 others I use frequently as a diy-er. The green on black blade just makes it easy for me. Highly recommend this tape.

Best tape for durability an easy to read. Great grip on the tip for measuring.

My eyes aren't working like they used to, so the color of this tape measure is very helpful for me. I also love that the numbers are on the bottom. This is my favorite I've ever owned. I've heard some negatives about it, though. I have heard that the print wears off pretty easily. I've also heard some people complain about the case separating when pushing down the locking tab. I tightened the screws on mine to help with that. You might want to make sure your's are not loose. I'm not using mine for my job. I bought mine for around the house, so mine won't be getting used daily. If you're going to use this tape measure everyday, you might want to look at a different brand. Unless the color of the tape measure is worth it to you. I kind of wish I would have bought the 16ft since I'm just using it around my house for DIY projects, but I'm very happy with this one too!

Tape is everything it needs to be my only thing is the grip at the begging of the tape has some wiggle room (about 1/32 movement) which if your someone like me who needs precise and accurate measurements all the time it may cause some issues but other than that I do recommend

They've updated the 16ft and what can I say, larger end hook, and now every foot mark has the colors highlighted! This is my 3rd 16ft and they're all still alive but with these updates I'm floored! My only complaint was the end hook being hard to grab with thick gloves but NO MORE ✊🤠 Crescent Lufkin shockforce nite eye is the holy Grail of tape measures, very strong takes abuse, easy to see\read and it feels as if the 16ft body is slightly smaller making it a grand slam.

Great tape but it's black and easy to overlook and lose in a pile of tools and materials. Spray paint it bright color.

I’ve been using this for years in my shop. Light weight and the clip still works. It hasn’t stretched out so it falls off your pants pocket. I like the darker colored tape just easier to read for me. I bought a dozen of them for my guys. I can get it to stretch out past 13 feet without breaking also.

Personally, one of the best tape measure measures I ever have used much preferred over my Stanley fat Max. I love that you can read the numbers in the dark very easily and there is no bend in the tape. It is totally worth it.

One of the best tapes I’ve ever used. Excellent build quality and clear, easy to read markings. It has your standard 16” and 19.2” for framing but it could also be a great tape for general construction, plumbing, electrical etc. It has a very wide blade and the standout is really good. The first six (or so) inches have an additional coating to help protect the tape - nice to see as this is typically where tapes start to loose accuracy or degrade. Even though it has a wide blade, it’s one of the smaller 16 footers out there. It feels good in the hand and has a nice “heft” to it. I keep this one in my belt and the 35ft version in my toolboxes. The entire tape is rubberized and has a metal “roll-cage” to protect it from drops and daily abuse.

I've used these Lufkin G2's as a Framer and an Electrician Apprentice. I can't help but tell you how this tape is awesome. Clear and easy to read the fraction lines, it's great to hold in your hand and not too heavy with great standout.

Strong durable tape. Bought a second as a replacement haven't had to use it yet. Been months I usually go through a tape every 3 months. Still brand spanking new
