Pretty good, gets the job done. I use it for my second monitor however it tends to overheat and the video kind of shuts off. Can't really blame the product, my computer gets very hot from editing videos

I'm using this on an old Dell Optiplex 3020 that only has DP 1.2 video out, running into my Hisense U8k 4k 144hz TV. I'm happy to report I was able to output 1080p 120hz in full RGB colorspace, and everything runs beautifully, including high-bitrate 1080p mkvs. Best of all, it properly displays the computer's boot-up splash screen and BIOS! Some home theater equipment struggles with this, not actually displaying anything until the machine actually boots into Windows. I can say that at least in my setup, this adapter causes no such issues. I was unsure if this adapter would perform properly in my setup, as the computer is quite old, and I'm running the HDMI output into an HDTV and not a Monitor. Fortunately, everything seems just fine.

Affordable and functions as advertised. Before you buy be sure you need a male end display port and female hdmi.
