My husband wasn’t really excited about the wooden handle, but he quickly came around. The knives didn’t have the edge we wanted when they arrived, so we did sharpen them to our liking. They are solidly made and were easy to sharpen. I liked the fact they weren’t overly expensive for the set. That wooden handle my hubster wasn’t thrilled about???? Well…we feel steakhouse fancy now! The square design doesn’t roll in your hand and they are the perfect size to get the job done on that ribeye!

It's a great steak knife or everything knife. Easy quick sharpening, does the trick. A good deal for the money.

Beautifully made, extremely sharp, so handle carefully. It's unclear whether the wood handles are sealed, but, as with any raw wood parts, care should be exercised to dry them thoroughly after hand washing them (I would not put them in the dishwasher). I rubbed the handles with food-safe cutting board oil as soon as I got them, and will do so periodically to keep the wood from drying out and cracking. To the manufacturer: you should recommend this in the care instructions, in addition to washing by hand and drying the handles promptly afterwards.

Good price. Does a good job slicing everything I've tried from meat & veggies to foods such as chicken and rolls that often become rubbery and hard to slice after warming in the microwave. Very happy with my purchase.

I just opened the box. With great results. These are so fantastic, I immediately purchased another set for future gifts. I’m beyond picky. The weight, sharpness and beautiful wooden handle are 5 stars.

Ok knife. They have a heavy feel. Good sharp blade. The major issue I have with these knifes is the wooden handle. The wood is NOT sealed. Its essentially just raw wood as soon as it gets wet it instantly absorbs water and starts to blister and raise! How are we supposed to wash the knife and at the same time avoid getting the handle wet???? I was initially worried about this as I prefer plastic or synthetic handles because I leave all my cutlery soaking in water in the sink until it piles up for a wash. So would I recommend these knifes, NO. UPDATE: blade dulls fast, handle already falling apart from the wood expanding splintering shrinking with any moisture during washing. Take a look at the picture. A total POS knife set. AVOID.

Razor sharp out of the box. Removed 1 star because this knife is way out of balance. I don’t know what the handle is made of but it seems hollow. Something to get used to I guess. Keeping it just the same for its sharpness.
