So I’ve been using the big kit for a couple months now and I’m impressed to say the least! The color changing are ok but the color doesn’t change as drastically as I thought it would. That’s ok though! Just did one of the champagne colors and omg, amazing! I’m going to put what I do step by step. Got my nails professionally done for over 10 years. 1: file nails with a file board on top of the entire nail and then the ends. 2: apply alcohol to dehydrate the nail. 3: rinse hands with water only. 4: I use tips so apply the wanted tip to the nail and make sure it’s really stuck on there. 5: use the base coat (I apply it slower to get it as even as possible and it does NOT dry out. 6: dip the nail (brush excess powder off once it’s dry and don’t forget!) 7: repeat for 2 to 3 coats. ( I do 3 coats) 8: apply the activator (I do 2 coats and make sure it’s wet) 9: file the nails all around with a nail file 10: use the drill to clean them more if you want. (I have a drill and it’s amazing.) 11: apply 2 top coats 12: wash hands after all is completely dry and enjoy! Hope this helps you all! I personally HAVE TO use tips as I have medical issues to where my nails don’t grow and if they do, they literally bend back and forth. This kit has saved my hands! Thank you so much! I have so many colors that I purposely take them off after 2-3 weeks and do a different color! I take them off with a false tip. (It doesn’t hurt as much as that’s how my salon did it for a decade but please be careful if you do. Acetone never melts them off for me) They are VERY durable and do NOT come off. I’m VERY rough with my hands too! Just make sure to take your time and you will be fine!

Yes I'm aware I chipped my nail the day after I did these. It's not a very strong product. I noticed that a lot of my nails are very quickly chipping at the tips. I haven't been doing anything crazy in the last few days. I made sure it the dip was evenly put on the whole nail. Overall, this is an ok product. It says it's supposed to change colors based on temperature. When it's hot, it's the lighter color and when it's cooler, it's the darker color. However, I noticed due to your body just naturally being warmer, your nails will always be the lighter color. So plan on that color being on your nails 90% of the time. If you're not a fan of the lighter color, go for a different pack. It's really hard to get the color change effect unless it's winter or you purposely wash with cold water. Also, don't practice gradients using the gray! I tried practicing a gradient between the gray and pink and it didn't turn out well. Because of my poor skills, It looked like I had a bruised nail. I walked around with people asking about it for a couple days before I ended up taking it off. When I did take off thee bad nail. I soaked it off with acetone soaked in a cotton ball and foil wrapped around my finger. Waited about 20 minutes and it wiped right off. Barely any residue and I was able to easily clean it off. One of the easiest removals I've ever had with a dip powder, so that's a bonus

The quality of this nail dip powder is top tier. I used a gel base coat (GAOY brand) in-between dips and gel top coat with the same brand (GAOY). I applied two dips on each nail, with a pass through my UV nail lamp for 60 seconds after each dip. The final outcome is a really nice, hard, smooth nail finish. This package does not include any activator, base, or top coat; it is only the dip powders. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the size of the dip powder 'jars.' They are very small, as shown in my photo.

This product is definitely fun and works in changing color but as someone who uses their hands very often it was always cracking or having corners break off

This product is much better than the more expensive dip powder brand (let's call them, "Bail Noo" - that mess had surface cracks and chipping within 24hrs!). This brand was a bit difficult to apply (I used their brand of base/top coat and activator), but I'm not an expert on doing nails and there is a learning curve. I floor my cuticles, get it on my skin so it lifts quicker, and sometimes have a slightly lumpy surface, but hey, practice makes perfect right? I also did my first layer with their brand of build powder and 2 dips of the color powder. The individual dip colors jars are TINY. I guess it's enough powrer to do multiple sets though - after one set I put the powder back into the jar and it's almost full again. It was just a shock to open the box and see the little jars. The color change effect is very fun! I've only tried the blue/lavender combination but I'm sure the other colors are just as lovely.
