FACHNUO 2FT Portable Wheelchair Ramp for Home Steps, Non-Skid Aluminum Ramp

This works great, comes assembled, and it is not too heavy for a senior female. My mother struggled to get from her walker into the wheelchair to go to appointments. With this ramp, I can wheel her out of the house while she sits in the wheelchair. Problem solved. When not in use, I fold it and store it in the foyer. It comes with a handle for easy carrying. It is sturdy and seems well made. I would not recommend a fragile senior carrying this very far, though. It might be just heavy enough to strain a muscle.

Bought the 12 ft ramp for a 2 ft stair rise, and it seems to work well so far. It was almost too heavy for me to lift and wrestle into position, and I can't figure out why the spring latch is located on the wrong side of the pin to keep it from sliding loose (but it hasn't moved yet, so not a worry). I put it in the garage on the cement floor, so the stability is good (If using outside, you might want to pour a cement pad for the feet). Had to buy a special large drill bit (5/16" I think) to drill holes into the metal door threshold to place the top pins in to secure it in place. The bottom feel very sturdy with the extra legs, but the top is a bit saggy about 3 feet from the top. It's fine for elderly mother -- 115lbs plus wheelchair plus 145lbs of me pushing her -- but anything heavier would need additional support at the top end if only for peace of mind. Will not be moving it, so I don't know how "portable" it would be, especially given its weight. But it was quick to order and be delivered, fairly easy to assemble (don't bother with the online video--not good), and cheaper than if I had hired someone to build a wooden ramp. It also isn't permanent, so nothing to tear down once mom's no longer living with me. It's fine if someone is pushing the chair, but a bit too steep on this rise for mom to use a walker or someone doing it on their own. I bought this particular ramp because 1) it has the little threshold ramps on the top and bottom for smoother on/off, 2) similar ramps with 2 sets of feet would not have worked with my stairs. I would recommend this ramp and am so glad I was able to find it when we needed one in a hurry and at a decent price. Hiring someone to build a ramp would have cost even more and been an ugly eyesore in the front of the house. This can be hidden in the garage or put away when not in use. (But it's so heavy for me that I'm just leaving it in place and parking outside.)

I purchased the 10 foot ramp to aid in moving furniture from one home to another. The ramp has many advantages. It appears to be well made and is sturdy, especially when bearing a load across both of its half surfaces. If using at a permanent location, one might consider anchoring it to increase its strength and stability. Although the 10 foot ramp is heavy, it is definitely possible for one person to move and position it. It has the advantage of being able to fold into a compact 5 foot x approximately 8 inches x approximately 12 inches, that fits inside the trunk of an SUV. Setting it up took only a few minutes. Since I plan to move and store it, I purchased a soft case for it (Vincreem 1 Pcs 70 x 18 x 12, 250 L Versatile Large Duffle Bag, Black, from Amazon). It fits quite well inside the case. Definitely worth the cost.

Well made, but sadly the slope was too steep for a 7" step.

Perfect size. Was concerned I may have ordered incorrect size but this is just right. It really is easy to use and to move. I like there are non slip at top underneath where it lays on top of step. Added security I feel. The ramp parts are non slip too. Works great for the little step I have. While it is easy getting wheelchair down the step it was harder to go up so I purchased this ramp for a little help. Help it did. Way easier to get up and down now.

The wheel chair ramp works great. We love it. I makes life a little easier

The ramp was functional and my mother was able to use it with her rollator, but I didn't feel completely comfortable with how sturdy it was. It felt a little flimsy and noticeably bent while she was going up it. I also kept it outdoors and it started showing signs of rust after only about two weeks. The biggest positive is that it's fairly lightweight and easy to carry and set up. It works, but I would have preferred something that felt more solid and durable.

So perfect for a short ramp. I don't think it will ever wear out. The quality is great and it is very stable! It is heavy for an old person to lift, but not too heavy for a caregiver.
