Was looking for an alternative HUB after having two Lenovo branded hubs die on me in just 3 months. Found this thing and purchased 3 of them. Once for a coworker and two for myself. Pros: - NO DRIVERS TO INSTALL! Works right out of the box on both Windows & Mac systems. - Plenty of I/O - HDMI, USB-C (for power), USB 3.0 Type A and flash card readers. - Tested with my Lenovo so 65w power delivery is no problem - Light Weight and small - great for travel Cons: - Cheap feeling plastic / light weight - Travel durability is questionable as it doesn't feel like it could take a beating if you travel a lot. I could be wrong. Mine are for work & home use and rarely get unplugged. So keep that in mind. I'm sure it would be fine, especially if you use the included package it came with when transporting it. I'd protect it if traveling alot. - Generates a good amount of heat when going full throttle. When you have external drives, web cams going, etc... under normal regular use no heat at all. It's fine... only when really pushing it will it have some heat. Otherwise, I recommend this adapter as a go to for anyone with either Windows / Mac setups. Heck I might buy one more just to keep as a backup in case one of mine passes. But so far, 3 units purchased, all 3 working great.. I highly recommend it. A- for sure!

This product works great i needed one for my work from home job to be able to plug in everything i need to use for work ( wireless keyboard and mouse headset and ethernet cable and a third monitor) since the laptop my job sent did not have enough ports for everything. This works great and i still have usb ports to plug my phone in to charge when i need to as well as memory card slots if i needed them. Its been working so good for me that i bought 2 more one for my wifes personal laptop and my personal laptop for when im gaming. Very happy 5 stars

This is a very useful USB-C dock and worth the price. I have been looking for a decent affordable dock and this one checked all the boxes. There are 3 USB 3.0 slots, 1 HDMI slot, 1 Ethernet slot, 1 USB-C extra slot, 1 SD slot, and 1 TF slot. That’s as much slots as I need for whenever I’ll be using it. It is very useful for devices such as iPads or the new MacBooks that only have USB-C slots. It also has a green light when you plug it in so you know it’s working. This is totally worth it I highly recommend!

Ordered this for my work computer (HP 845 G7) to use when I travel! It's small, easy to connect, and worked very well! I was able to connect to the internet through an Ethernet cable, use an external monitor, and use a USB keyboard and mouse. I have limitations through my work on connecting an external drive but as long as I don't insert an external drive into the hub I don't have any problems! Received it in a timely manner, would buy again!

OVERVIEW This product has a very nice look and feel. It’s not too light has metal housing, it does have a plastic port bezel but that really doesn’t take away from the build. As I said before this is my second purchase from this brand. I bought a similar product with a slimmer build which excludes the 4K and Ethernet jack, and it has worked great. Because it was not 4K it would not work with my ultra wide monitor. This newer one though works just great for ultrawide and for 4K. I am using this with a windows machine at work and have one here at home for my wife’s MacBook Air. PROS -Build Quality -Connectivity -Compatibility (it seems to just work) CONS -Color doesn’t match space gray -Port layout is messy for cable management (power should be located on the end with HDMI or with main usb bank) With everything plugged in you have wires coming out of all sides so it takes up some desk space just doesn’t look clean. I can’t think of any dealbreakers with this one, so really the color and layout could be better but the thing works. Oh it has nice packaging seems premium. I really hope to see them step up and beat out Anker with quality and price!! I normally only review products that I have trouble with and I tend to be critical in my evaluation but this is one of the few times that I feel the quality and value are above and beyond what I expect to find. I can no longer recommend this USB-C hub. The hub has completely failed in less than a month. Reduced to 1 star - look elsewhere for a solution. ------------Original Review---------------- This USB-C hub is a step up from the cheapest hubs and worth the increased price. The hub has 1 HDMI port, 1 Ethernet port, 3 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB-C power in port, 1 SD card slot, and 1 TF card slot. Also, there's a non-removable USB-C power out cable to plug into your laptop. This configuration works nicely with my ASUS 434 Chromebook giving me all these additional slots while powering the laptop. The only negative I would call out is that when utilizing most of the slots, there are items coming out of all sides. Otherwise, I highly recommend!

I bought this MCY 8-in-1 Laptop Docking Station because my friend recommended this brand and the devices are always of good quality. Pros: - much smaller - good value Cons: -very short cable Suggestion: - the card readers? Do you need card readers? As you know, very few people need them. I would like to have an additional USB port instead.

The docking station works great overall. Keyboard and mouse connected via USB work fine. The hub charges my laptop perfectly. BUT when connecting my 2nd monitor via HDMI, there is a lag using the mouse and keyboard in windows on the monitor. So I don't connect my 2nd monitor using the hub, just everything else. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars.
