Imported kei trucks ship without most of the safety equipment we take for granted, and the factory horn is part of that gap. It's cute and works fine in a Japanese parking lot, but on American roads where my knees are the crumple zone, I want a distracted SUV driver to actually hear me. Nine months in, including a full winter of wet and snowy weather (these mount low and exposed, so that matters), zero issues. The dual tone makes my truck sound like something twice its size, loud enough to cut through traffic noise without being shrill. Install on my Subaru Sambar was easier than expected because of the available space back there. Still required splicing into the existing horn wires rather than plug-and-play, and the hardest part was finding solid mounting points that wouldn't vibrate loose. Took a family vote on whether to keep the original, run the original alongside these, or replace it entirely. They nearly all voted to keep the cute 'meep' horn. But I overruled and installed these. I might wire the meep up to a separate button anyway, just for the smile.

Used this kit to replace the stock horns on a 2019 Tesla model 3. The original horns were badly rusted/corroded and no longer functioned. This horns work great, though I did have to slightly modify the horn bracket setup as I attached the bottom horn to the bracket bolt point, I also needed to use the Ford Spade adapter to connect to the horns. These horns sound way louder than the stock horns and I'm hoping they last a long time due to the dust/water resistance.
