The cable works as advertised my issue was with finding the right program to use with the freestyle and this cable. Once that was found it worked great. Have since found that freestyle meter constantly reads lower than it should and have replace the meter with a OneTouch that matches what my doctor sees at his office.

I had zero issues using this cable to get downloads into my computer. Well - almost zero. It is very important to make sure that the cable is completely and securely connected. On my first try I thought I had a good connection when I put the cable in the meter and heard a solid click. However the meter would not connect to my PC. Then I looked at the connection and noticed that the black plastic part of the cable was not touching the meter and that a tiny bit of the metal tip was showing. I pushed hard on the cable and finally it seated completely. I had to push harder than I was comfortable with but the cable and meter were not damaged. The monitor was detected and once I created an account in the CoPilot software I was able to do any download I wanted and also to do the same for my wife's Freestyle Lite. The software registers the ID numbers of the meters and keeps the information separate.

This cable works very well. The label on the package directs the user to the website with instructions to download the software. Initially, it took a short time to upload the information from my meter. This will save me time from manually recording in a logbook. Compared to other cables, this was a fair price.

The unit plugged in and connected like it was advertised. The only drawback ois getting the correct software from Abbott to read the meter.

This cable does not work with the software for my Freestyle Lite meter. Shows nothing connected. Now, coming back to write the review, the photo is of some Keto supplement pills? Odd...

The whole plug and play aspect of this product, did not have to download any drivers, works as soon as I plugged it in....

Cable instructions were a little rough looking BUT effective. The cable worked as advertised.
