What's it made out of besides the cloth? Wood or plastic or cardboard?

Thanks so much for your interest in Savor. It's custom-dyed cloth over reinforced paperboard. All of the paper, whether it's the files or what's lining the drawers (all of which are lined in color paper rather than white or exposed paperboard), is acid free. It's a higher-quality paper so that your items don't degrade. Please let me know if you have further questions.

It's February 15th and there isn't a slate option. Is there a way to purchase it while on backorder?
