Permenantly Tarnished after 2 months

I had it for just under 2 months and it turned green. False advertisement of ‘Gold plated’ jewelry. Real gold plated jewelry does not tarnish. I followed all the instructions: Not getting it wet, Not sweating in it, Not spraying perfume, not sleeping in it. I’ve tried cleaning it after it turned green and it didn’t work. So disappointing
