Pra quem gosta do jogo base, esse é essencial.

To any prospective buyers keep in mind you MUST have the base game and something that can install/run the companion app. While the base game is very fun, as is the DLC campaign, the replay value was relatively low because A. There were only two campaigns, albeit with slightly varying paths. B. There were only so many items/titles/events/enemies and most importantly C. There were just enough characters for a full party, with an equal number of classes, meaning there was very little variety in terms of character builds and options, with most parties being the same. This expansion totally fixes all of those by essentially doubling the variety of enemies, characters, classes, and (when the next DLC campaign drops) campaigns. The best part is that this and each future expansions components will be enabled and appear in old campaigns as well, essentially retroactively and exponentially increasing replay value as expansions come out. The new characters and classes are great fun, with unique play style characters like Gandalf as well as traditionally powerful characters like Din and Arwen. New item upgrades also make previously mediocre items more viable. It was unfortunate not to see a new battle map considering how much new terrain was added with the expansion, however the campaign does find several new and very clever ways to spice things up. The components are all high quality, and round out/fit in with those of the base game. The only real complaint/word of caution is that even after some updates the game still has bugs, with me encountering a token that was uninteractable, which was a minor issue, and far more seriously a game ending bug where the heroes were never placed/map not set up and upon trying to re load the save file was corrupt, resulting in the loss of a game we had invested 8 or so hours into. That said, if you liked the base game this is a must buy, if you thought it was ok but the lack of variety was a problem for you this should go a long way to fix that. If you didn't like the game at all however, its certainly not going to change your mind on it. Hope to see many more expansions for this, although I do hope they stop releasing the boss figure mini expansions later than the big box ones when they are clearly supposed to accompany the campaign.
