** I will Point out first that i didn't try the speaker yet. ** * I gave 5 stars for now, because it came quick, well, and looks as description. * - As they say in the instructions, i charge it first and then i will try it. as soon as i try it i will update my review and note my thoughts on the quality of the sound. - From the first look, it feels solid, strong, and the buttons feels good. I also checked the silicon that covers the AUX input and Charge input. The silicon looks and feels like a good quality, it is really thick yet flexible, and it does not feel loose. It came well packed, and included The: Speaker (Ofcourse Lol), USB cable (for charging), AUX cable, Handle (as you can see in the picture). - I uploaded pictures of it's look, and how it came. * some pictures include information that i found to be important / nice to know. I hope my pictures is helping you guys. - Must say, i never heard about the company in my country, nor the name of the speaker, and i was a bit worried to order the speaker. - As soon as i opened the box, i got relaxed a little bit. They have very clear instructions about the product and especially about its charge (how to charge it, what not to do, and such) , which in Bluetooth speakers is always important to know how to handle it correctly. - The lots of information and important Notes which i posted in the pictures gave me the feel that, they are not playing around, and it is a good quality product. Furthermore, It gives the feel that there is someone to contact with, if there is any kind of a problem with the speaker. - Yet again, I didn't try the speaker, I don't know how quality the sound is. - My review for now, Is just the way it came, how it feels, and my thoughts about it. * * * * I will update My post as soon as i check how it sounds and how it operates. * * * * ** UPDATE ** I tried the speaker with several genres of music (Mainstream, pop, rap, rock, and such) , The sound feels good, Sounds good, And the speaker has a nice clear sound, Which i always look for in headphones/speakers. The bass is really cute does a good job. I wont say it has crazy bass but it diffidently does a good job. In over all the bass sounds good and clear. Pros: - The sound and bass is good and clear (even heard few elements that i didn't even notice before in few songs). - Feels solid and a good quality build. - Does not have an annoying robot speak voice when you turn it ON or OFF, only short beeps. (I find it as a Pro). - Not to big, Even smaller than i expected. (which i appreciate) - 4 Silicon points on its bottom for a good grip. cons: - Doesn't have an app to work with the sound options / preferences. (if there is, I'm not aware of). - Doesn't save the last time use volume options (for example if it was on 4/10, It will reset to 10/10), Which i found myself jump from the unexpected volume lol. But i noticed that if your phone volume is low it wont be on max volume. ** if it does save the last time us e volume please let me know so i will know what i do wrong ). That's it i believe. This speaker is so much better than I anticipated. Most speakers seem to be too high on the highs (treble) and not enough of the lows (bass), but this speaker has a good balance of both. The volume does not distort when turned all the way up. The weight alone makes it feel like a sturdy item and not mass of cheap plastic. The controls were easy and not complicated. The speaker paired instantly to my iPhone with no issues or guesses as to what I needed to connect. The C cable that came with it is useful and easy to connect not only this speaker but also with my sons iPhone 15. This speaker also comes with a nice attachable handle to carry it easily. Overall it’s a great speaker for the price paid. Works great, easy to use, and sounds great. I definitely recommend.

This little speaker packs a punch. It seem well made and has protective covers which appear to make this water resistant, although I have not personally gotten mine wet. It is lightweight, charges fairly quickly and it small enough to blend into many backgrounds without being an eyesore. Sound quality wise, it is pretty solid. I compared it side by side by side with two other speakers. One I purchased for $30 a few years back. This unit was far superior to that. The other was my Amazon Echo. Unfortunately for this little guy, that is why I'm not giving this 5 stars. The Echo had a brighter sound and when placed next to the Echo, this sounded ever so slightly muddy. Honestly though, had I not done a side by side comparison, I probably would have given it 5 stars because I do think it sounds good. Especially if you're pairing a phone, iPad or Echo Dot to this, I think you will be impressed by the quality. If the retail price were lower, in the $50-$60 range, I also think I would have given it 5 stars but at an $80 price tag, it is just over 4. I am thrilled to have this at the price I paid since I got mine during what I can only assume was a flash sale, but I have to take into account that some people will pay more than I did and give them the best info that I can. Summary: I wouldn't hesitate to go for it. Unless you are an audiophile or knit-picking to write a review, I think you'll be very pleased with it. I'm pleased with mine and may purchase another as a gift.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the box and took this speaker out is how tough it felt. I thought to myself, hmmm I don’t have to worry when Tyler (my son) decides to accidentally drop it. It’s only a matter of time… It is quality made and has a nifty carrying strap. It charges quickly in 6 hours. I plug it in before bed and rock out all day. Water proof – It cannot be taken on a dive off the board - but it can be splashed by your world famous cannon ball. Dustproof – Go ahead and listen while you mow the yard and blow that patio. This speaker may be small but the sound is MIGHTY. That must be why they call it a Beast. This baby is LOUD. It packs a punch with its crystal clear sound and heavy bass. I Bluetooth paired the Hypergear Beast with the Galaxy S7 and the iPhone 7 within two shakes of a lamb’s tail. BAM! Very user friendly. It comes with a handy easy to understand user manual to get you rocking in minutes. It also comes with an audio jack and a USB cord if you can’t connect wirelessly. You can reject calls (because we all know we do) or you can answer your phone and make calls on this speaker using the speaker phone function. That’s an awesome little perk. The packaging the speaker comes in is fierce. It has that “WOW! You shouldn’t have!” factor that would make a perfect gift. This speaker def earns a solid five star review!

I should start by saying I have nothing against the famous speaker brand, and I have purchased their products before. I've always said that one would never be disappointed with one of their speakers. That said - I really didn't want to pay the price, and I was sure a great product had to be out there for less money. I have found it! I am in love with the HyperGear Beast XL Portable Speaker. I've been using it non stop since I bought it. I pair it with my Android cell, my Echo & Echo Dot, and my iPod. I've had no problems with any of them. The sound is great! The sound quality is rich, full, and really carries! I've used it outside a few times, and am extremely impressed and happy! It is also very easy to use. If a speaker of this size is what you're after, I would recommend it and I would buy it again. I think the waterproof rating is a great plus. I have only one suggestion for later models. The sleek, all black design is beautiful - but it makes it a little hard to find the keys. In low lighting they are almost invisible. Once I used the speaker a few times, this was no longer an issue. I've added a few pictures to illustrate - both how great it looks on a shelf, and how it can be a little stealthy on a shelf. The pictures are with the camera flash, without, and with low lighting in the room. The "stealth" factor is so minor that I'm leaving my rating at 5 stars. One last note. I've found that positioning it on a shelf or in a corner amplifies the base and sound (in a great way). Enjoy! I bought two of these speakers. Within eight months, one failed completely and will not even power on. The second one technically still works, but the Bluetooth connection fades in and out and mostly garbles audio, even when the source device is less than a foot away. Other BT devices work fine, so the problem is not interference. I initially liked these speakers, which makes the failure more disappointing, but the reliability just isn’t there. Between a total hardware failure and unusable Bluetooth performance, I can’t recommend them.

small speaker. packs a nice punch. bass is deep for the size. bluetooth speakers have come a long way. for $60 this speaker is badass. would buy again without a doubt. i would say better than a bose soundlink mini. close to a jbl extreme. not quite as loud but a nice rich sound. waaaaay better than a jambox. plan to use this baby on my stand up paddle board. very happy with the purchase. you get 30 watts for the price of what most 20 watt speakers are going for. Update: i still think this speaker is awesome, but it is simply not splashproof, to get the ipx6 rating, a device has to withstand water being sprayed onto it. this little speaker took a wave on my SUP and water immediately got into the speaker, distorting the base. amazingly, i put a fan on it and its working fine again. this thing can withstand tiny splashes but NOT A WAVE of water. its probably fine for most outdoor uses. get a fully waterproof speaker for water intensive activities. I was hoping to make this one work because its 30 watts and no other spaker in its price class is 30 watts. i'll be moving down to a 20 watt unit at the same price. still highly recommended this speaker. Just bought the Sharkk which is fully waterproof and 20 watts. its not in the same league as this speaker. the 30 watts of this hyperbeast sound waaaaaaaay better than the 20 watt Sharkk. if you don't need 100% waterproof, I'd go with this speaker. you get a lot of sound for $60.
