Seriously, the BEST masking tape I've ever used.
Seriously, the BEST masking tape I've ever used. Forget the blue/green masking tapes from the big box stores that cost 2 or 3 times the price. This is far superior to even the "sensitive" or "platinum" versions of the blue tapes, ESPECIALLY if you're masking over previously painted surfaces. If you're masking a fresh unpainted surface those other tapes might make more sense, but how often is that the case? With any tape, it's all about making sure that you've rubbed down the edge really well to get a good crisp line, but in doing that a high tack tape is more than likely to pull up or mark any previous paint; this tape did not. Even using automotive enamels, I found that a previous coat of paint only needed 24 hours of drying, before I could use this to mask over it without leaving marking. All of the blue tapes required 48/72 hours of curing before they could be trusted not to mark the fresh paint.

I'm using this to stop drafts through my windows.
I think this tape is going to work perfect for what I purchased it for. I wanted a white tape to tape over the window seals to stop drafts this winter. Before this, I always used painter's tape, but the bright blue was a little much. The white hardly shows at all, and it is advertized as low tack, so hopefully it will peel right off come spring. I was a little disappointed that the blue writing on the tape in the picture is actually on the tape, so not completely white.

LOW tack???
I used self etching primer, GOOD primer on a gas tank. I taped around the middle of the tank, the seam as it was a two color tank. White on top brown on the bottom. This tape pulled ever bit of paint off the seam and the paint had cured for a week before taping. This tape sticks like duct tape. If THIS is low tack, WHAT do they consider high tack??

Not happy
I purchased this tape to mask off a border while I painted my walls. I had some of the same tape left over from a previous painting job and it worked so well on the lower end of the border that I ordered this additional roll. I used it to tape the top of the border when painting the ceiling and when I removed it the border was torn. All I can think of is that the tape was old. It cost me more than $60.00 to replace my border.

Terrific for labeling plastic bags
I use this for labeling plastic bags which hold frozen food in our huge freezer in the garage. It sticks securely and comes off completely.
