This is a delicious bread that does not have to be toasted to be enjoyed. On the contrary, have it fresh with some butter and a cucumber, and you got yourself a delicious meal.

Very good dense bread! I bought the variety pack with the Whole Rye, Sunflower, and Pumpernickel bread. I ran out and ordered the 3 pack. It showed up fast, and it’s good, I highly recommend it. ENJOY :)

I got this because my grocery store ran out of Delba pumpernickel. This one is very good though maybe not quite as good as delba. But still very good.

It’s so hard to find good rye bread, so I was very hopeful & excited when I saw this. We love rye bread, though for my son, it’s a relatively new thing, just because it’s hard to find where we live. When we tried it, he said “this doesn’t taste like I remember”. So he gave me a small piece to try. It was quite moist & very pungent—it was going sour. I told him not to eat anymore-he’d eaten one of the tiny slices, trying to figure out why it tasted “different”. He got sick later that night. I did not get sick, but I did get an unsettled stomach. I told him to toss it-didn’t think to check the date. We’d just gotten it the previous afternoon, so it didn’t sit HERE long enough to turn icky. Very disappointing.

I have great memories of my childhood and that bread! Impossible to find in a store but Amazon has it!!!! Happy times!!

The bread was good, but 1 loaf spoiled (weird mold) well before expiration date. Amazon wouldn't replace/refund it and I never got a response from the bread company. The other two loves tasted good, but not as good as I remembered it. I don't think I would ever buy it again. Not worth the money.
