Q: The mat was shipped folded instead of rolled. The folds left creases which cause the mat is not to sit flat. How should I remove the creases?

I rolled the mat fairly tightly in the opposing direction to the fold line and secured it overnight with a rubber band. When I then rolled it open it was flat. There was still a faint crease line, but that disappeared within a day or two.

Q: How do I wash off dirt that comes from shoes?

i use the shower head to rinse it off. Sad thing about this mat is it seems to always attract dust and hair. Constantly having to sweep it off or shake it off.

Q: How durable is the mat in regards to houses with dogs? Will their claws easily scratch or rip it?

No, it works perfectly with dog claws. My dog has not harmed my rugs in any way. My dog loves to lay on mine while I shower, and when I bathe her she lays on it.

Q: How fast is water absorption?

I don’t have any issues with it. I do remove it after I shower and roll it into the towel I dried off with and let it air dry on a drying rack
