Do not buy one of these. Silent operating, yes because they do not work. This has spluttered a couple of times but is pumping and filtering no water. Having had canister filters before decided to go back to one again. So now I am going to have to make a trip out to an aquarium store today to buy a replacement so my fish do not die. Once again do not buy this I have a lot of money for something that does not work.

Initially, I didn't feel entirely confident upon observing the seal design, and that sentiment persists. It's not due to any immediate problem, but rather a concern that with time, the latches may weaken, potentially leading to a leak. However, there's a chance this may not occur. Currently, everything seems to be functioning as intended, and the UV light indicator is still active.

Good quality, still works good. A bit challenging to clean the conmecting tubes,I wish it would have some cleaning tool coming with it. Otherwise great

Didn't even last a year...motor crapped out. Wouldn't waste money. It's a cheaper price for a reason 👎

Have been using on a 40 gallon Hex tank for over a year with no issues. Easy to maintain, my only regret is not buying the bigger one. UV bulb hasn't needed to be replaced yet.
