Quality horrible. Worked fine in land. Was supposed to be for water but stopped the minute it was put in water. Very disappointing

This didnt work as expected. After about an hour it wouldn't work any longer. I changed batteries, dried it out but never would work again. Waste of money

Unit just beeps and vibrates continually when you turn it on. Cannot find any support contact for it. The instruction manual is basically worthless related to support of troubleshooting. It does go from the one bar to three bar level when held over metal, but if it beeps/vibrates all the time it won't be helpful. If someone has contact information to pass on please do so.

I've taken this metal detector on two dives and it's proven to be a handy tool underwater. Pros: Ease of Use: Simply scan the bottom and the detector vibrates and flashes a bright blue LED upon detecting a conductive object. Accuracy: It can detect metal objects buried up to 8 inches deep in silt. Durability: The unit is robust with minimal potential failure points. The battery port, the only real potential point of failure, is well-sealed with a double O-ring. Cost-Effective: It offers great value for its price. Battery Life: Lasted for at least 2 hours in my experience, and it was still going strong. Cons: Powering On/Off: The vertical positioning for 5 seconds to power on/off means it can inadvertently turn on or off when being carried around. Removing the batteries is a workaround. No Power State Indication: It doesn't show if it's on or off unless it's detecting metal. Carrying Inconvenience: There's no efficient way to secure it during a dive without it being cumbersome. If it floats vertically, it keeps detecting your scuba cylinder, leading to constant vibrations. Conclusion: For those seeking basic functionality at a low cost, this metal detector is spot on. It delivers great value for its price. However, if you're in the market for a device with more features like adjustability or modularity, you might want to look elsewhere, as those features typically come at a higher price point.

I took this metal detector, snorkeling, five different days for an hour at a time or more each time. I’m still on the same battery 19 V battery it turns on and off exactly as explained. I left mine on the whole time that I was in the water didn’t find any diamond rings or Spanish coins ha! However, I did find metal objects it’s kind of astounding when you think about the square footage hundreds of thousands of square feet of sand on the bottom of the ocean the chances of you running into even a bottle cap difficult to calculate…. It was a lot of fun felt like we were on a treasure hunt and the nice part about it is while you’re snorkeling you’re looking for shells and you’re looking at fish and you’re looking at your beautiful surroundings. You don’t have to pay attention to the metal detector. You just let that sweep back-and-forth… you don’t need to watch it because when it vibrates it wakes you up and let’s you know that it just hit on something and so you don’t have to miss the beauty while you’re sweeping hoping that the metal detector finds some thing. pretty perfect!! I think it’s very well-made. It seems tough and sturdy. I actually used it sort of like a spoon to pop something up out of the sand and let some children on the beach play with it and they found some bottle caps and felt good about cleaning up the beach 🙂very nice. I lost my wedding ring in the lake out front of our campsite in about waist to chest deep water on Labor Day. We searched ALL DAY with our hands and other primitive tools with no luck. I bought this tool and went back a week later and FOUND MY RING!!!! I set up a perimeter with sticks and worked a search grid diligently. I found a lot of trash in the process but after 3.5 hours I found it. One of the best feelings I can remember to have my original wedding band back in my possession. Needless to say, my wife was happy too. Great product. Maybe not professional grade but worked for my purpose beautifully. 10/10

What a lifesaver. We lost an expensive wedding ring in 4 feet of lake water about 2 1/2 weeks ago. We thought it would be a long shot, but we bought this detector and I tell you it did its job. We located that ring under 3 inches of sand within about 30 minutes of starting our search. Talk about saving the day, month and year. Cannot say enough about this product.

I was really excited to try out this metal detector and start my treasure-hunting adventure. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped. The first one I received stopped working within 30 minutes of use. While I appreciated the quick replacement, the second unit was even worse—it didn't work at all. I tried three brand-new batteries, and still, nothing. It never even got close to the water, let alone detecting anything. It was incredibly disappointing, especially since I was so eager to explore and maybe find some hidden treasure. I had high hopes for this product, but after two faulty units, I’ve decided to try a different brand for my next metal detecting adventure. Hopefully, I'll have better luck elsewhere.

I bought this device and the first time I put it in the water it flooded with water, I put it to dry did what I could but the device never worked again, maybe I was unlucky to get a faulty one but I can not return as I only had a few days on Amazon to return and I used it after the date of return.

I used the product for 30 minutes and found it to be quite responsive, however, it flooded and is now completely useless. I have been in the marine business for 15 years so I know how to make something water tight. Complete waste of 122dollars +shipping cost.
