Quality product
This key pad is extremely well made, there is no delay between key board and screen when typing and the battery life is excellent

Great keyboard case but a bit heavy and inconsistent response
I love Brydge keyboards cases but this one is a mixed bag. It has loads of features, great battery life and easy magnetic attachment but on the downside, the keys are not always that responsive, getting the iPad out of the case can be a faff, my Apple Pencil has fallen off more times than I can remember and the case is really heavy. So overall, disappointing and hard to recommend.

Brydge finally got it right!
Glad I waited. Been through several 3rd party iPad keyboards, the SNUGG tranformable one easily the best. But it was slow to connect so when this model was released in the UK from Brydge, I snapped it up for our 3rd gen iPad Pro 11". Superb build quality, perfect key travel and feel, quick n easy mounting and dismounting of iPad (no sliding it into hinges etc like previous Brydges) and faster but not instant Bluetooth connection. Persistence is key! No pun intended. Nice one Brydge.

I have loved this keyboard and gotten lots of good use out of it. Pros: * Functionality: - The track pad is huge! (4" x 2 3/8", 10.2cm x 6cm) Much larger than the track pad on Apple's Magic Keyboard - The keyboard feel is great (and I'm very picky about that). - This is the only 3rd-party Bluetooth keyboard I've found that buffers your typing, so you never lose what you've typed. With other keyboards, you have to wait for the Bluetooth connection to finish before you can type. - Closing the case puts the iPad to sleep automatically, just like a laptop. *Construction/Quality: - Excellent build quality, the aluminum is sturdy and protects the iPad well. - Perfect fit for my iPad Air 4, and the magnets hold the iPad strongly in place. - The weight of the battery holds the keyboard in place, much like with a laptop. - The battery charge lasts a long time, and the battery holds the charge. - Bluetooth connectivity is perfect - fast and reliable. - The plastic part (the iPad holder) is rubberized for solid grip. *Appearance - The keys are backlit with blue-white LEDs, very similar to Apple's laptops. - It really does make your iPad look like a little MacBook Pro. *Price - It costs a lot less than Apple's Magic Keyboard (at the time of this writing, $180 vs $255). Cons: - I had to replace the silicon feet; the two front ones slid off. - It's a little thicker than Apple's Magic Keyboard, by about 2mm. I have no issue with the thickness of the keyboard itself, but I'd like to see the plastic iPad holder thickness reduced, if that can be done without sacrificing the strength of the magnets.

It’s good quality and works flawlessly, but it’s quite heavy and bulky. The keyboard is thicker than the iPad itself, and the back plate is also quite thick, which all adds up quite significantly to the bulkiness. The keyboard works without any problem though. The keys feel nice, and the backlight is great. The dimmest backlight option though is not as dim as I’d like, especially when in dark background, but that’s not a dealbreaker.

I have tried a LOT of different keyboards for my iPad Air 5th Gen and this one is the best for me. I love the fact that you do not have to put the iPad in a separate case in order to use the keyboard. It magnetically attaches, so you can just pop it out to use it in "tablet mode." And just as easy to pop it back in for "laptop mode." Yes, the trackpad is the diving board style which makes it harder to click towards the top. I have mine set in tap mode anyway so it's really not that big of a deal. Frankly I don't even think of it. The typing experience is really good even though it is a slightly shrunk down size. I can type pretty fast on it and it feels solid and premium. The backlight is nice but I keep it off. I really don't care about my keyboards being backlight. This is a bluetooth keyboard so it's not as seamless as the Magic Keyboard that uses the smart connectors. That being said, the pairing on this is really fast and seamless. I have not noticed any problems with the trackpad's gestures because of this. All of the usual ones work very well. It is a bit heavy. When you have the iPad in it, you will certainly notice that you have a handful of device. It really doesn't bother me that much but if weight is a concern for you, keep this in mind if you buy one. As far as the protection it would afford in a drop, I guess it would help protect the iPad some but at the cost of itself. The edges of the device are exposed and I could see damaging the keyboard case in a drop. But I guess that's better than breaking your much more expensive iPad. The only improvement that I can think of that would make it 100% perfect is if it used the Smart Connectors. But other than that, this is a really nice keyboard that I don't think anybody would be disappointed with. I love it!! Definitely a keeper.

I read this company recently stopped business but is now back. One of the main things that’s nice about this keyboard is its sleek look. It almost makes it look similar to a Macbook. The magnets are strong so you do not have to worry about the iPad falling off. I have read some reviews about the trackpad being terrible, but so far I have not experienced any issue. This is after using a Magic Keyboard with the smart connector from Apple. I would say the trackpad is on par, if not, slightly less fluid than Apple’s Magic Keyboard. Also it is much larger than most keyboard/trackpad combos out there. Since the company is back again, I’m not sure how long it will be before they bring back the app that goes with these keyboards to update the firmware. Whatever firmware they’re getting shipped out with now seems to be a decent one. This is 100% usable while laying down flat in bed, or your legs propped up to while laying down to type. It is also “lappable” at a certain angle. Any farther, it will tip over if your hands are not on the keyboard. Now for a few cons. Apple has a dedicated globe key that kind of acts like an fn key on a keyboard. This keyboard has it too, however iPadOS 17 does not recognize it as a globe key. So you can’t go into settings and remap this key if you wanted to. However you can assign the globe key function to another key such as the caps lock key. I don’t use that key often so I assigned it to that and it does the job. Another con is the naked iPad if you want to use it as a regular tablet. I’m not the biggest fan of using the iPad unprotected, so I just have to be careful using it as a tablet. They do have another case called the Air Max+ which has a case with the keyboard that you can detach and use as a tablet and still have protection. So at least you have options. One last thing is of course, its top heavy, but many should know that as most keyboard/trackpad combo will be top heavy due the iPad. Adding extra weight to the keyboard to weigh it down would not be ideal as it would make it too heavy overall. Overall, I’d recommend this keyboard if you want a nice sleek look, great typing experience, and nice trackpad. Also forgot to mention it is backlit. I’ll probably give this 5 stars once the app is back to have continued firmware updates.
