Beautiful deep colour!
Beautiful colour on dark brown and on lightened blonde streaks! Barely any fading and it's been a few weeks. Very happy with the colour, it's a nice deep jade colour so it's actually quite subtle with steaks of it in dalk hair. Easy to mix and apply, I will be buying again.

My scalp is tinted , my hair is untouched .
It has not done anything to my hair . My roots are same colour . I don’t know if it was expired or what was wrong with it . My skin is slightly tinted but the hair didn’t take any of the colour whatsoever. I use brunette to touch up my roots every month , so the rest of my hair is black anyway , I usually use blue black from L’Oréal , thought I would give the green tint a try for a change . Waste of money and time .

Not one of the better home hair dyes I've used, didn't come out the colour on the box
TD:LR - Dye didn't come out the right colour (black with an overtone of electric blue colour, not dark green of any shade), and took a second dye attempt to get the dye to take on all my hair with not enough to fully cover hair which usually only takes one box. Hair was really shiny though... This box was actually the second box of this colour I've bought, the other bought from Superdrug. Why I was buying a second box was when I used the first the result was patchy and not very good. I wasn't sure whether this was me not applying it evenly (although I've been using home dyes for over a decade and haven't had this problem before) as, unusually for home dyes, there was barely enough to cover my hair. So I decided to get a second box to try and correct the patchy effects of it, this time using Amazon as I couldn't find the same colour in store. Unlike the first time I mixed the dye in dye bowls rather than in the provided applicator bottle so I could brush it on in the hopes of getting it more evenly spread. Like the previous time it spread on quite thicky and wasn't enough to cover all my hair, but since it was a second attempt I just made sure the patchy areas were fully covered and then worked what was left over the rest of my hair so as to try and make sure it was an even job this time. On the plus note, when it was done and my hair had dried, this time it was at least an even job. However, the end colour wasn't what was on the box. The box shows a dark green, nearly black shade that edges toward having a blueish-turquoise tone. The colour I got was black - which was okay, not quite the same but close enough to be natural variation - but the 'overtone' colour was a bright electric blue colour with not the slightest hint of green. I mean, its a pretty effect, I quite like it, but it is very much not the colour on the box. Also of note is that's the effect I got with box one on the areas the dye took to, although there was the occasional hint of green on the areas it only partially took to, I think because my hair is naturally a dark golden brown and since the blue stuck more than the black it created an almost greenish effect, all of which was gone on the second dye attempt. It does, as the box suggest, create a really good shine on the hair which also comes out feeling really soft - I can't comment on any hair relaxions, which I think some people complained about, as my hair is very straight, although the little floater hairs are noticeably less visible so maybe there is some. But either way, I won't be buying this dye again. I haven't tried other colours by this brand yet, and I noticed this one seems to be disappearing so maybe this one is the only one with a problem, but if I want blue/black I just get that colour and hope it works better than this.

Great on virgin hair, unpredictable on coloured
Lots of people have had the Metallic Teal dye turn their hair an (admittedly lovely) royal blue instead of the colour on the box. I had this happen too when most of my hair was bleached. I've since dyed it black and used this on my roots, where it turned the exact colour on the box! Hair dye is basically chemistry. The dye will usually turn some shade of green on natural, untouched hair, since that's the type of hair the product is created and tested for. If you've used ANY other dye and put this on top, the result is going to be different as you've added an unknown chemical into the reaction; in general, previous dyes seen to prevent the yellow pigment from adhering to the hair. PLEASE REMEMBER - If you've had ANY previous colour, bleach or processing (e.g. perming) then DO A STAND TEST FIRST! Find out what the result will be, before putting it all over your head and hoping for the best! If it does turn blue instead of green you can always buy a yellow dye to correct it - Bleach London does a wonderfully bright yellow shade that doesn't cost too much & washes out relatively quickly (especially important if your hair has already reacted unpredictably to this dye) - but again make sure you do a strand test first to check how everything will react! I've got fine but thick hair (fine strands but a ton of them on my head) and one box covered a good inch of root growth. I had a second box and put that on the rest of my hair, but of course that did diddly-squat to the blue-black lengths. For now I'm going to wear an off-centre parting that I'll keep black, then when I've got enough regrowth I can move it back to the centre for a coloured root 😁

Midnight Jade excellent for eliminating red tones in brown dyed hair
I have mousey ash brown hair which is also dyed ash brown but after so many washes it always turns red (Even with a 'professional' colour...) and is impossible to tone with toners (I've tried them all, particularly green which does nothing). Even my hairdresser has given up and just blames the use of occasional tanning products. That may be so but I don't want red hair! Therefore I decided to try this and leave it on for 10 minutes rather than the full time of 20 minutes plus. Well it worked a treat. Its now a lovely natural glossy ash / mousey brown with no hint of red or green! Would highly recommend this colour to anyone trying to tone their hair from a warm red to a cool ash.

Not the same colour as on the pack. More blue rather than green.
The box clearly states midnight jade and shows a green. My hair style: the top half of my hair is Live-deep red and the bottom half is usually Alpine Green on bleach for vibrancy. I bought this product as it was the closest to my normal style and I wanted a permanent colour rather than a semi permanent in the hopes it would last longer. After applying to my hair (previously bleached for a more vibrant colour green and all previous colour completely faded) the colour ‘midnight Jade’ is actually blue and not green at all. I don’t know if the colour pack was swapped in the packet with a different colour or not (I’ve heard that happen before) but this is absolutely not the result I was expecting. Live products are usually spot on with their hair colours. I have one more pack here so I will try again and see if I get the same result (I’ll know then if the dye pack was swapped or if this is the actual colour). But for now, the colour is nice, it’s vibrant and left my hair feeling soft. Albeit it is the wrong colour.

Great dye-manage your expectations
I used this to cover semi permanent green in the front of my hair. I have seen a lot of negative reviews about the colour not being green or being patchy etc. your hair history and colour palette play a huge role in this. Please make sure you have knowledge of colour theory. It worked great for me because I used it on a decent base with little to no damage. Would definitely buy again!

Vom Ergebnis überzeugt
Absolut perfekt.

Is gut genug

Absolut keine Empfehlung
