Our dogs love Neo Bites food toppers, and little do they know that the product is also very healthy and sustainable! Our cattle dog Roo licks her bowl clean when we add the topper and our chihuahua Butters who is a very picky eater and sometimes doesn't want to eat at all can always be convinced by adding a little on top of his kibble. When I received this product, it wasn't quite what I expected. Since it was called a topper I thought it would be crunchy. However, it turned out to be mostly a powder with some whole oats in it. I shrugged and sprinkled some on my senior dogs' food. They are both excellent eaters and did not turn down this product. In fact, they LOVE it. There are a lot of things to like about this. While I want to give my dogs plenty of protein, I am a vegetarian and prefer to use less animal meat in their diet. I can do that with this product and not worry that they're not get enough protein and other essential nutrients. The resealable package comes with a small scoop, and it's easy to dispense the powder. It does not smell unpleasant. In addition to crickets and oats, the powder also includes turmeric, kale, and kelp. This product is a winner. The dogs love it, and it's good for the environment.

Our puppy was not eating very much and would only gradually graze on his kibble when we first brought him home. But after introducing Neo Bites into his diet, he can't wait for meal time! It really has made all the difference with getting him to eat more and he's grown from 11 pounds to 24 pounds in just over a month!
