Customer reviews have stated that this food contains bone fragments. Any truth to this?

While we do not add bone and cartilage as separate ingredients to our cans/pouches, the meat constituents will naturally contain some bone and cartilage. We work to assure that the bone pieces are ground down and have specifications for the amount, size, and shape of the bone contained in the cans/pouches. The amount of bone and cartilage will vary based on the raw material being used at the time.

We do sample and check all of our products and have currently taken our grinding and bone size down as far as possible. We work to assure that the bone pieces are very small and not in the least bit dangerous. We have conferred with our on-staff veterinarian on the subject and confirmed that bone pieces small in size present no risk to a pet.

What Does It Taste Like?

If this question is tongue in cheek, thank you for the laugh and I'm assuming it tastes like rabbit (I haven't eaten any of it myself).  If this is a serious question about what it tastes like for dogs, mine liked it, and I have one very picky eater who literally will clamp her mouth shut and turn her head away if she doesn't like what I put in front of her.  Rabbit and duck are good alternatives to the usual chicken and turkey.  None of mine eat beef, lamb or pork (my choice, not theirs), so this is a good option for a dog that doesn't particularly like poultry.

I see that the manufacturer says that this is "made in," whatever country they listed, but that does not necessarily mean that the raw ingredients come from those specific "made in" countries.  That just means that they were assembled in those countries.  So a better question is, "Where do all the raw ingredients come from?"
