Not just for kids
I’m an adult and color to help improve French vocabulary. I find it to be relaxing while watching TV. It doesn’t feel like I’m studying, but taking the time to color the picture and concentrate on the word is good for retention. I like to use colored pencils and glitter crayons.

Relaxing way to practice vocabulary
I enjoy using this book to learn and practice French vocabulary. It’s nice to have something a little different in the mix that’s not on a screen. The biggest downside of this book is that it doesn’t list the article (male or female) for each noun, which is a pretty big oversight. I’ve been looking up each noun and writing in the article, which is OK but kind of a hassle - especially since the layout of the book doesn’t leave much room for this.

Fun Gift for Paris Obsessed Girl
Gift for my 8 year old niece. She had fun learning the new words and it (coupled with a few other parisan themed gifts) was a very thoughtful & creative gift (imo)

It’s ok…but
I bought this book because I thought it would look on the inside as it was on the cover with the words next to the picture. But the words come on a list, and the drawings are on another page. It is not engaging; I wrote the words next to the drawings on this page. Why would you color something and then go back and look at the number that matches the word? In such a case, you can buy a dictionary. I like the drawings, but the book misses that picture-word detail. It is not the most accurate tool for learning the language.

Perfect for small or beginner French learners.
I wish I had things like this when I was young! It’s a fun, low-pressure way to pick up basic words while coloring and staying engaged. I bought this for my 9-year-old, and it’s been a great intro to learning another language without it feeling like school.
