Shakti has always felt worth the extra $$ to me…
I hold tension in my neck, jaw and shoulders, and experience significant anxiety. I bought this level 2 pillow in hopes it would be more severe than my generic name spike pillows. And it is amazing— so sharp, so relaxing, and it interuots my physical feelings of “freaking out” when I’m stressed. Spike mats and pillows are all fantastic in a bad time, but Shakti really does have especially nice stuff. I’m glad I spent a little extra here, because it feels like bliss.

The OG ShaktiMat is much better than the no-name alternatives I tested
I bought the Original ShaktiMat Acupressure pillow after I tried a friend‘s. I have been using multiple other brands (mats and pillows) for a while now, and ShaktiMat is significantly different and imho better. It hurts more in the first minute but is more effective and goes deeper. It is also obviously higher quality in terms of the firm inside pillow and the other materials.
