I have a wide foot and these work great. I leave them in overnight and the next day I can wear them comfortably. Good purchase for all my shoes and sneakers.

I have a problem getting shoes to fit right and have a few shoes that have been unwearable because of that. I did some research on shoe stretchers and decided on these. They have been great - I was able to stretch a pair of unwearable shoes to the perfect fit. I recommend these to anyone who needs adjustments on their shoes. They are very sturdy and well made, and I expect to be able to get lots of use out of them.

I work with older people every day. Mostly women. So many people have a variety of foot problems as they age. Such a bummer to be in pain with every step. This shoe stretcher is great, since it can stretch a given comfortable shoe in just the right spots to relieve pain from a random corn, bunion, or some other given sensitive area on the foot. This stretcher has relieved some pain in people I see. I've given stretchers like these to a handful of people & it's helped. Anything to relieve some pain helps make life / mobility so much easier. I use the shoe stretch spray inside & outside the shoe as well when I use the stretcher. For some people, the stretcher needs extra help. I'm very happy with the little bumps you can insert in those holes for corns & such.i only gave 4 stars, because the little bumps are amazingly difficult to insert in the holes!! My older clients CANNOT DO IT BY THEMSELVES. they've asked husbands to try, & the older guys can't do it, either! I've had to fix their shoe stretchers myself. In one case, i had to use a drill to drill the holes bigger so I can insert the black hard plastic bumps into the holes! I know there should be a secure fit, but that's ridiculous. Otherwise, the concept is good. Just get a wood shoe stretcher & be prepared to enlarge the holes with a drill if you can't manage to fit the plastic bumps in where you want! Geez. Lol

So shoes I had bought online. That are fully leather. Aren’t what I hoped for in comfort. So these seemed to be the best way to fix that. Results are not yet what I hoped for. And the plastics parts are not good. Plastic just doesn’t seem to have the durability or strength that is needed. I can’t recommend these at all.
